@LikItB4IStickIt. Once a dev has a playerbase on a platform, it would be bad business to abandon that platform. If Season 1 was it on Steam, and everyone had to go to Patreon for the rest of the game; one - it's a different build. second - DPC would piss off, and alienate a percentage of his playerbase. It would just be a bad business move. As you said, Steam gives indie devs a advertising platform. I wouldn't have found out about DPC if it wasn't for Steam. I think it's safe to say, Steam has given DPC a playerbase. Yeah the cut is steep, but I doubt DPC would have the recognition that he does now, without a big advertising platform like Steam. @Jake Yes, Season 2 will release on Steam after testing for the Steam release is done. No one knows for sure when the release will be. DPC will post on here, Twitter and Steam when the Steam release will be, once he has a clearer picture of a reasonable timeframe. It might be three weeks after Patreon release, could be five weeks. We don't know.

Long, long after the Patreon release, if ever. Dunno why DPC messes with Steam at all other than as a demo and advertising for his Patreon (and season 1 alone serves that purpose), Steam takes a 30% cut vs 8% here.

DrP. has stated he is planning for a total of 14-20 episodes, and given how many episodes so far per season I would say Season 3 would not be the last. Now keep in mind this is all subject to change as DrP see's fit. If he does end this game at Season 3 i'm sure he'll start working on a new game...As a Military Veteran (former infantry, before women were allowed to be infantry) I could imagine all the good times he could write about a fresh recruit, right out of basic. Actually now that I think of it, barracks life was eerily similar to dorm life in college lol. Just with guns and deployment instead of classes and sports.

The main menu music has CC0 license songs that need special treatment than the licensed music.

Has there been any discussion as to how many seasons there will be, like after season 3 are there plans to continue further?

Just a guess on my part but I am assuming you will need to download the update and install it into the current game file.

Just curious if the "music" option at the main menu will get updated to include season 2 songs when the final part is done, for quicker access than having to load/play through and fiddle with the phone?

When you boot up the game (at the screen where you select new game, continue, gallery, etc.) you will see a version number on the bottom right corner. If that number is 0.7.0, 0.7.1, or 0.7.2, then you will be able to use the episode 8 patch version, otherwise you will have to download the full version. You can still download the full version, regardless. it would just be unneeded bandwidth on your end.

Good morning fellow brothers I have a few quick questions if anyone has the answers; if we downloaded the full game from Patreon when the new episode comes out we don’t have to download anything? If not will the game automatically update on its own? And lastly if we can’t remember if we downloaded the patch or not how would we know?

so excited for the next episode.. feels so much like awaiting a REAL tv series return from a nail biting finale each time there might be a new one on the horizon.. I know you have a set plan of episodes with a story to tell but i really do hope it goes on longer to keep that TV series feel alive as its something i havent seen others do and it works so well for your story.. I know you cant reply due to workload but id love to get a little hint as to how much longer into episode 8 we will have to try and finish the frat house.. over several plays ive tried and managed to get closer and closer to completion minus the window cash so was just curious how much time we will get to finish that going forward.. later play attempts can be done in one episode but the 1st play save files might take longer as hadnt figured it out fully.
