Status update Episode 8

Following last week's big update, this one will be shorter.
I'm working on the checklist I presented last week here.
This week I worked mainly on static renders for a couple of big scenes and wrote code.
I've purchased and added new music and sound effects and playtested a few scenes.
I have added everyone who signed up to be in the credit section of the game.
1036 patrons, on top of all anonymous donors, are now listed in the credits.
It's crazy to think that back when episode 1 was released, there were 17 patrons in the credit section.
Next week I will start off focusing on writing and most likely posing animations.

@DrPinkCake I'm probably not the first to ask but do you take suggestions for future developments? If so let me know, I've been having quite a few ideas for potential Season3 and 4 if the game is able to evolve long enough. -cheers.

2021-09-11 01:41:09 +0000 UTCI totally agree, those are the best VN out there no question! The texts are really good in both Acting lessons and Being a DIK. They generate strong emotions and not many games can say that. I'm way over 50h in acting lessons and managed to get everything and I must have 40 playthroughs total on Being a DIK already both on and off steam. It's been a while since I got that hooked on a game. I really hope they're planning a 3rd season and I'm more than happy to keep financing this. It's the only game I sponsor and I wish I could afford to give even more. @DrPinkCake, keep up the good work!

2021-09-03 19:14:33 +0000 UTCYour work deserves the support.. i'll admit after just recently completing Acting lessons it did fill me with actual tears and such emotion that i hard a hard tim finishing it but i did BUT being a Dik is just so many things in one that its groundbreaking.. every episode pushes the boundaries of the last.. there is so much actual FUN stuff to do and player involvment through the mini games which i love.. This project is the benchmark that all others should strive to be like and like any good tv series i hope you widen your scope for a multi season run as i never wanna see this end.. unless it goes into acting lessons end genre then god help us all lol.. You have a life long invester here with more cah coming your way once a fe of my other pledges run their course freeing up that capital
