2023-07-23 08:45:24 +0000 UTCThey not disbanded and Hui didn't leave.Hui went to Boys Planet to get some attention for the band. He makes a lot Weverse live with Kino or other members. Most out of his studio that you could see in the last episode. CUBE seem not to know what to do with them. They could make a comeback this year but nothing happens. Very sad, they are really good and deserve better.

2023-07-18 11:23:07 +0000 UTCI mean if these were groups that were completely on different levels of skill then I think the online voting would be a bigger deal… I mean yes some groups have bigger fandoms .. so they will maybe get more votes… but everybody here deserves to be there. Even the group that barely debuted TOO was actually super impressive. Of course there are some who are more experienced so better in that way… but unless a group had a huge problem in their performance or something… I can’t see any of them being on the top that would be an issue… if that makes sense. They’re all great and deserving on some level… and the entertainment industry doesn’t know what the word “fair” means lol

I just know that hui was on boys planet trying to debut in that group … I thought he said something about making the difficult decision to leave pentagon? Maybe it was for pr and he never was supposed to make the group and they did it to get pentagons name out there more? Remind ppl or introduce ppl to them? I duno but they seem to be loved by all the idols… such a shame

Such a waste of amazing talent and a lot to show for themselves. Hui, as his genius producer self, would be having a field day if more collaborated with the group and if Cube managed them better

As they mentioned in the first ep about being on the show, Pentagon went through a lot of struggles (with the Dawn/Hyuna dating "scandal" and how that affected them). When the news broke out Pentagon had just finally made it to being "known" wider in kpop so for the "rule breaking" couple, then Pentagon was slightly punished with just not great promotion from the label to kinda keep lower profile after the scandal and went off to Japan for a bit but with how the company and general kpop fandom took the issue it messed a bit with the groups momentum. But Jinho being the big brother of course looked after the members. So besides the natural bonds a group over 5 years formed you can see how close the remaining members became after hardship (though obv we are missing Yanan on this show as well). Of course as you said it tugs at all the other contestants hearts cause they will be going through it too. Actually group number 2 ONF all just completed their service soo it's a good month for WM. Oh My Girl comeback and return of their boy group.

2023-07-17 07:38:05 +0000 UTCFavorite performance of this round are Pentagon and ONF, but to be honest this is one of those rounds that every performance will blow you away so the favorites are just barely higher than the other. Verivery and Oneus' performances also are amazing. As for the emotions with Pentagon's performance - as a mainly boy group fan in KPOP it's just tough when the enlisting starts for the group. The main thing is simply not knowing the group's future. It could disband while they are enlisted. It could disband shortly after they come back. I watched one of my groups, Victon, kind of dealing with this and it hurts. It's scary. So, I think it was weighing a lot on Pentagon's mind especially with all they have been through and never having won a first place. This show I think was their final "push" to try to gain attention as a group and to be honest it felt as if they went downhill after it they would have disbanded the group. You'll learn more about them through Road to Kingdom. That's another thing you'll notice on RtK is Pentagon does mostly live vocals the whole show. It was made more clear in the second half of this performance. I highly suggest not watching the fan cams of each member for this performance LOL it was PAINFUL.

2023-07-17 02:28:54 +0000 UTCI loved both Pentagon performances. I did not expect them to do such an emotional stage in round 2 , to do a farewell stage for Jinho. That´s what Hui ment, he is sorry for the band that performs after them. I think for round 1 I would put Pentagon equal on first place with Golden Child and ONF and The Boyz with TOO behind them. I love the performance by The Boyz, but I kind of stuck with the others from last week more. I hope for Pentagon, that they stay together and leave CUBE together, like iKON did early this year with YG, and CUBE let them go on as Pentagon. I have mixed feelings about the next episode because I don`t want any of them to leave.

2023-07-17 02:01:25 +0000 UTCPENTAGON PERF 1 : Most of Cube artists are producers/composers who do their own songs. For example Hyunsik/Minhyuk for BTOB/ Soyeon for (G)-IDLE. Hui is well know as a producer, he did songs for others groups, one well know song is WANNA ONE - ENERGETIC but also for MNET survivals show (PRODUCE). He also produce a lot of songs for PENTAGON and others members do it too, they are know to self produce and self compose. VERY GOOD is a must listen, it's just iconic, I usually don't really love the covers people do for VERY GOOD because BLOCK B is very special, they have their own color but PENTAGON did great on this one. Not my favorite since I gave my TOP 3 already but it was great THE BOYZ : Taemin saw DANGER performance. The choreography is definitely on point and the storyline too. It's not my favorite because the arrangement don't really get me go crazy On this round, the ranking is understable. I love Wyatt saying he won't show his abs anymore but now he became close with Hongseok and they are working out together. First thing he did when he finished his military service was to go to the gym with Hongseok OH MY GIRLS and ONF are really close juniors/seniors, most of the groups in WM actually are. You are right about ONF being loud (honestly OH MY GIRLS are also loud), they are also pure chaos. In a lot of variety show, the show have to warn people to lower the volume because they are so hype. You also have the staff laughing behind the camera sometime Today, they were in RBW concert with others groups (ONEUS, ONEWE, MAMAMOO, PURPLE KISS, OH MY GIRLS, CHAEYEON etc), they were one of the loudest just like their fans 😂 (understable since they cameback from military, first performance after it and first time they could heard the fans cheering afters years) Seoho, Dongmyeong and Hyojin (main vocal of ONF) got to do a collab stage today by singing/covering LOVE IN THE ICE originally by TVXQ Since you like Hyojung right? Hyojung also did a collab stage with Solar and Goeun (PURPLE KISS) RBW concert orders was a bit messy but it was fun PENTAGON SECOND PERF : This performance always make me cry. It's so emotional. They went through so much together honestly. They were at their peak during SHINE but Dawn/Hyuna situation happened, Cube didnt manage anything and you know how some fans are, it's also hurted the group. CUBE didn't help much after. Thank to RTK they actually won several wins but still just this year Hui ended up on BOYS PLANET (MNET survival show) and even when it's ended, Hui might have gained fans or put spotlight on PENTAGON but CUBE still doesn't take the chance to let PENTAGON comeback which is just letting a good opportunity I didn't know much about PENTAGON when ROAD TO KINGDOM happened , just some of their musics but I also cried. It's also one of the group I ended up following. In February, I even got the chance to see them live (still several members weren't here for multiples reasons). They are so great to see live. They mixed SHINE and their other song Spring Snow You will see but personally I can't rank the performances from the "MY SONG" round, if I go with biased view it's ONF because it's during this performance I went fully into them but all the others performances are great. I feel like you will love ONEUS performance

2023-07-16 21:26:57 +0000 UTCto this day the stage of The Boyz still seems too impressive to me how they were able to go beyond the impossible, they are another level. The stage of Pentagon is the most emotional of this type of program the phrase that jinho said: "I am happy until the pentagon disband" reminded me that this year could be the end of them and the situation for them looks much worse because of cube, it is no surprise everyone knows that it is one of the worst companies,pentagon deserve better.

Cube could've really made use of the fame Pentagon had with 'Shine' but CUBE Ent is known for being not good at managing their artists especially when a controversy comes up . (G)Idle's success is keeping the company afloat but still with that, what they did to (G)Idle was... tsk tsk.
