February Release #1

Hey all!

Today we're here with our first release of Uptown content for the month!

As a reminder, for Uptown we've looked back at Urban Exteriors - the second ever MAD Cartographer theme. Although we love those maps, they were created before we'd locked in a few elements of our art style, as well as elements like enterable buildings, roofs, and levels. For Uptown, we revisit those maps and have re-imagined them with our present-day styles; larger, and full of new features. All maps in this theme will have Day/Night variants included.

District Gatehouse

A fortified city gatehouse sitting over a canal keeps a housing district separate from the hustle and bustle of the city thoroughfares.

Foundry users are able to pass beneath the gatehouse, climb the stairs to the keep walls, and enter the residential buildings at the north of the map.

Old Town Roads

An older, more neglected part of the city continues to try and eke out an existance here; small shops clustered alongside residential buildings even as litter and debris begin to build.

Foundry users are able to enter the buildings, climb onto the roofs, and pass beneath overhead canopy elements.

Butcher's Block

A tight warren of streets surrounding a large butcher's shop, including animal pen and slaughterhouse kept out back. Despite the noise and mess, a group of affluent residences has sprung up about the store - or is this a newly arrived addition to an existing neighbourhood?

Foundry users are able to enter the buildings, climb onto the roofs, and pass beneath overhead canopy elements.

The gallery has been updated with this content, as well as pCloud, which you can access through your Theme Master List and the Foundry VTT module is updated and ready to be downloaded.

Vampire Hunters

We've always been honest about the fact we don't want to continue dragging the Vampire Hunters module out artificially beyond the span of the Curse of Strahd adventure module, and the end of this adventure rapidly approaches.

Later this month, we'll be bringing you 3 encounter supplements that we feel cover some gaps or add additional value to neglected areas of the Curse of Strahd adventure. As for what happens after that, we'll be bringing you more exciting details about what comes next, next week!
