Man of steel is base off the New 52 Superman where he’s more abit how if we have an actual Superman in real and how would we react. Some people like Superman out of fear and some like Superman for saving them. James gun is a gold age superman where every life he try to save everyone at the risk of his. He brings hope to everyone.

I fw James Gunn like I love Guardians but I’m just over these corny, glossy action comedy superhero movies. I much prefer a darker, more mature, gritty tone but even that has been done a lot now in superhero movies. The Batman was sick though, I loved that film. Vince, you’re spot on about Batman. Christopher Nolan changed everything with Batman Begins and made that gritty, grounded superhero film so popular. Comic book movies really leaned into the goofiness before Nolan and that’s what this film does, it just didn’t hit for me.
