I saw how much they enjoyed Monsters inc and Toy Story and it’s not like we’re watching animated movies all the time I love the diversity of what Vince and Shoshana watch it’s what makes them one of the best at what they do (hopefully I spelt her name right)

Only reason she’s doing fine with Harry Potter and it’s snake scenes, it cause Martin on here has been sending them Harry Potter versions with all snake scenes edited out, replaced by black screens describing what’s going on. So that’s a no go probably on this ever unless someone edits the movie like that.

I think a genre poll is a great idea bc instead of one type of movie winning over and over, it gets a healthy mix of all types of movies so its more fair for all their variations of fans. I don’t have one favourite scary movie lol. Ask any horror fan their favourite “scary” movie and you’ll get a long answer. As u grow up and watch more horror less things are scary but realistic horror can get u for sure. When evil lurks was a good recent one and watcher. Funny games, Eden lake. Thrillers can be done well too I think the invisible man is decent, the witch & midsommar for more psychological thrillers. I could go on and on. My point is that there are many horror/thrillers that are actually horrifying but things like the purge get picked which is an injustice lol

It’s not meant to be a horror film in the traditional sense. It’s more of a thriller. And the reason millions of people like the purge is because it’s a very interesting and unique concept. Plus the first one limited itself to one household but the second one does a lot of good world building and expands the lore and story. It actually makes perfect sense that it’s on here and winning
