I said he is considered as but if you think about it the first avatar was given the power&wisdom by bast , bast isn’t like konshu where he physically is inside the avatar but she gave the power so that why black panther is considered as . And if you look in one of the comics (i can’t remember the number) where all the avatars are there and black panther’s is standing with them

2023-11-06 14:45:56 +0000 UTCQuick little comments: first, you know how on episode 4 it is revealed that Layla's father called her his "Little Scarab"? Well, the Scarab is another hero from the Marvel comics, so, low key they introduced her in this show as well. Also, Oscar Isaac is not only on Star Wars but he was previously on the X-Men, he played Apocalypse in the X-Men Apocalypse movie. He had way too much make up on that movie and the movie director didn't do such a great job with that movie so he wasn't as impresive but that wasn't his fault, I thought his performance was one of the best things about that movie actually! Lastly, this is connected to Black Panther as well. Whoever wears the mantle of the Black Panther is sort of the avatar for Bast, who is also one of these gods, and basically, whichever god you believe in is where you will end up in the afterlife, but they are all from the same panteon of gods. Overall, this show was way better than I expected, Oscar Isaac's performance was just brilliant and I would argue is the top reason this show was soooo good, but they did do a great job on how they portrayed Moon Knight as well. I mean, the suit alone was bonkers!! I can't wait for Moon Knight to join The Midnight Sons with Doctor Strange, Blade, Ghost Rider, Werewolf by Night, and whoever else Marvel decides to bring into the MCU's version of the comics!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Then you add his crazy backstory and you just love the character even more. At least for me. He’s definitely up there with Iron man and Captain America

2023-11-05 15:24:52 +0000 UTCOscar got his real-life brother Michael on the show as a stand-in. Whenever Oscar was portraying Marc, Michael would portray Steven and vice versa. Then the post-production team worked their magic. Oscar did a lot of research on DID before going into this show. That included reading a book called A Fractured Mind. Author Robert Oxnam revealed in the book that he had eight alters living with him that he didn’t know about until he was in his 40’s. Almost a year ago, my sister was able to finish watching this show and I joined her in case she missed anything. I especially wanted her to watch this episode because I wanted her input about the show’s take on mental health. We paused this episode twice to talk about what was going on, but the second pause had sparked a conversation that went on for about half an hour. We talked about mental health in general because we both deal with our own struggles and know people who also struggle. She also helped me clarify who Marc was talking to when he said “I won’t give you that satisfaction.” I figured he was saying that to his father Elias because the latter wanted his son to grieve with him, but my sister said it made more sense he would be saying that to his mom Wendy because from Marc’s point of view she doesn’t deserve to be mourned after all the torment she inflicted. The reason why I say Marc was saying that to Elias was because even though he didn’t take part in the abuse the fact that he didn’t do anything about it makes him just as responsible as Wendy for the DID. By the way, Shoshana, Marc is Jewish in the comics as well. The comic version of his father was a Czechoslovakian rabbi. He was also the cause of Marc’s trauma.
