At this point, you can see that answers vary widely. I would still recommend just watching things in release order. Everyone may have there own personal preferences on how to watch the post-endgame projects, but there is no consensus order, so I’d still go release order just so you don’t accidentally skip around and miss anything.

You guys seem to really enjoy wandavision so I would say give the next show (FATWS) a chance. For what it's worth, based from previous reactions, I really think you will enjoy pretty much all of the mcu shows. What I would suggest maybe though is doing 2-3 episodes of a show at a time. That way there's not such a huge gap between different projects.

The events of Loki 100% affect Spider-Man's story, Loki MUST come before No Way Home and What If...? They made it clear that they were going to go in release order (by the Black Widow poll a while back). Why is everyone begging them to jump forward 4 movies to watch Spider-Man: No Way Home? Their options should be: Stick to release order (which means watching Falcon and the Winter Soldier) or go back and watch the Netflix shows (Jessica Jones, etc). Or, if they really don't want to do a show, Black Widow followed by Shang-Chi and Eternals (none of which rely on anything from Falcon or Loki).

Go in release order for both the shows and the movies. They weave together which is cool but annoying to some. If anyone says you dont need to watch the shows theyre wrong. For example, if you see Doctor Strange 2 without seeing WandaVision first it will make a lot less sense. Shows like Falcon and Winter Soldier, Hawkeye, Ms Marvel and Loki have a big impact on MCUs future with new characters you WILL see again and changes to existing characters.

i think movies in release order is the best bet and then picking and choosing one or two more mcu shows to watch. I think attempting to watch everything will take way too long and won’t really be worth it because there’s a lot of mediocre content (mostly the shows)

Oh, one of the movies is technically relevant, as it is the introduction to a character that is featured heavily on one of the shows. I'm not sure I can reveal it without potentially ruining the reintroduction scene. so...there's at least one time watching the movie before the show is "important."

For full context, Wandavision was Jan 2021, Spiderman was Dec 2021. People are suggesting you skip a whole year of MCU content so they can skip to you reacting to the best one. (4 full shows, 3 full movies, skipped)

Post End game is when people start picking and choosing, and creating their own justifications for what does and doesn't need to be watched. It's mostly due to a bit of a quality drop in consistency across the board in the latest phase. I think sticking to release order is still the easiest way to go to cut down on the noise. Even people suggesting spiderman and claiming the shows are not needed are IGNORING THREE MCU MOVIES released before then. (Black Widow, Shang Chi, and The Eternals.) Personally I didn't like Black Widow, and Eternals didn't fit as well in MCU I feel, but Shang Chi is definitely still worth a watch (And I think would likely be the most relevant of the three moving forward? though a lot of the characters in the Black Widow Movie I think are going to have some form of screentime in future movies as well). Of course, these all pale in comparison to the spiderman movie, but people can be patient. There's still a couple great MCU shows to watch that were released before spiderman. Falcon and Winter Soldier, Loki, What if?, and even Hawkeye all came out before the spiderman movie, and I'd personally rate those shows between solid, to pretty sweet. You can really rush to spiderman if you want, and I think I agree that there isn't anything else super relevant in that you would need to watch (I think a comment or two in hawkeye references a location used in spiuderman, but that's about it, nothing really big or important) But there is also no real reason to do so. Just a bunch of people who are impatient with the shows and other movies are gonna try to rush you towards spiderman. Also, if you start with that one, arguably the best, it's all downhill from there, which is also not great (Thoguh I'd argue loki and what if? are enjoyable even after watching third spiderman movie)

Release order applies to MOVIES only. The movies should take priority over the shows. The shows are merely SIDE content that can be skipped or watched in any order. You should continue the MCU movies while watching the shows in-between whenever you have time.

Continue with the MOVIES and treat the Disney+ shows as side content that you can watch in-between. The rest of the series do not connect to the movies. There’s no need to watch in release order. Kevin Feige himself has said that the movies are written so that the average viewer does not need to watch the shows to understand them.
