Guys this is important. Despite people asking for you to watch the Spider-Verse sequel. You shouldn't watch it yet since it contains spoilers to the MCU's Spider-Man no way home despite not being directly connected.

I agree and disagree sure this cameo really didn’t mean anything in the long run but knowing what’s to come with other multiverse project like Deadpool 3, dr strange and other future movies like secret wars and kang dynasty this is not the last time we will see fox x-men actors before they are rebooted in the mcu so in the long they should definitely finish watching x-men

Nah I disagree tbh. All it did (knowing that Evan Peters was Quicksilver in the X-Men) was turn everyone into a frenzy thinking she was bringing in alternate universe x-men into the MCU instead of just focusing on the show and accepting it as a fun cameo.

Ok, so, I'm gonna try to explain the ending a bit. Quicksilver was played by Aaron Taylor Johnson in Avengers: Age of Ultron. However, in the later X-Men movies (which you haven't watched yet), another version of Quicksilver is introduced played by Evan Peters (the guy that showed up at the end). So basically, without spoilers, make of this what you will :)

The concept for this show is actually loosely taken from the House of M comic where Wanda rewrites reality with her powers like creating her children as she did in the show, she creates a new world order where X-men are the hierarchy, and then in the end she even removes the mutant gene from like 90% of the mutant population basically ending the X-men.

they explain how Wanda got her powers in WandaVision. Not from the mind stone. Neither of them got it from the mind stone. Though I'm not going to spoil any further since they haven't gotten to that episode.

Shout out to Shoshanna for bringing up Wanda being selfish because she was at the expense of innocent people. She had to kill her lover only for Thanos to reverse time and kill him again in front of her. That will do something to your psyche

Yup I agree about the mind stone powers but not going to spoil it. But at the time of Age of Ultron, we are led to believe that’s where their powers came from.

I wouldn’t necessarily say they got their powers from the mind stone, the show actually touches on that in episode 8 but I don’t want to spoil it for them. ⚠️SPOILER TALK⚠️ I would not expect the X-Men appear until after the multiverse saga is finished and it’ll be a rebooted version. But if you’re referring to the fox universe Xmen, then Deadpool 3 is meant to close out their arc.

This takes place in the 80s. Last episode was in the 70s. They are going through all the decades. I think the opening credits in this episode are based on Family Ties, Growing Pains, and Full House. (Full House is probably the one you were thinking of).

Quicksilver was played by Aaron Taylor-Johnson in Age of Ultron. But in the X-Men movies, Quicksilver is played by Evan Peters who we see at the end of this episode. Since her brother is dead, Wanda had to “recast” him with another actor. The X-Men are coming to the MCU very soon. But we still don’t know if they are going to use the same actors from the previous movies or just reboot the characters completely. So Evan Peters showing up in this episode definitely blew everyone’s minds and caused countless theories. In the X-Men comics, Wanda and Pietro are the children of Magneto. They are mutants who were born with their powers. But their origin was changed in Age of Ultron to imply that they got their powers from the Mind Stone in Loki’s staff (the same stone that is in Vision’s head).
