I agree with everything you said. People that don't understand this much lack discernment and perception to what is really going on.

Josh

Same for me, he came off selfish/hypocritical to me.

Josh

was it right for him to be pointing fingers at Tony's face, but knew what buckey did to his parents? Mind controlled or not, he should've said something. He was being just as selfish as iron man

Josh

Watch the Pick Up Artist. Yong RDJ won't look so crazy. It's a good movie, too.

Jordan Long

Bad take

Don't get me wrong, I love Bucky, and I might have had a different outlook on things had he died, either in the beginning by the task force, or at the end by Tony Stark. With that being said, Steve was less in the right than Tony and Tony was less in the wrong than Steve. At the beginning, Steve may have gone to apprehend Bucky, but he had time to do so before the authorities showed up and chose not to, he then decided to not just aide Bucky but he attacked law enforcement, stole and damaged a police car, Sam nearly nocked a helicopter out of the air. Again, I get wanting to keep Bucky from being killed on site, but still that is standard procedure for for any non-serum enhanced super soldier suspected of blowing up a UN meeting, killing a king and many others, so why would they not have that directive for Bucky? As for Wanda, she is to blame for the destruction and deaths that happened in Lagos. Wanda is a foreign enhanced who just killed multiple people residing illegally in the United States, keeping her on the grounds of the Avengers compound is the best option considering the army and law enforcement would want to put her in an actual prison, and no offense but Wanda is an unstable "teenager" (supposedly) so her reaction to law enforcement or even civilians who might come at her would almost certainty be violent. Regarding the Civil War, It is annoying how they all blamed Tony for the Sakovia accords and the end of the Avengers. The accords were not Tony's idea, and he was not the only one who supported or signed. And the battle, Tony was fighting on the side of the law with the actual information that he had, and when he found out that Bucky was not guilty of the UN explosion he acknowledged he was wrong and apologized; when Steve realized that Zimo did not want to awaken and control the other winter soldiers did he acknowledge he was wrong & apologize? Then we come to the final fight, with Tony v Steve/Bucky. 1, Steve knew about the murder of Tony's parents and never told him (a bit hypocritical when he was mouthing off to the director of a super secret spy organization about not sharing top secret information with him, including the fact that Bucky was alive, which Fury didnt even know about). Then, when Tony has to watch on screen his parents being murdered by Bucky, Steve doesn't even spare a second to try and offer consoling words to Tony (which may or may not have helped, but that simple action would have made a difference to me as a viewer) and instead is just like "Dont blame Bucky, it wasn't his fault." Noone in Tony's situation would be able to just watch that and be like, yeah, your right, its cool. Also, I love Barton, but that comment he made was disgustingly tasteless, he essentially blamed Tony for the paralyzing injury his best friend Rhodey received!

Lucile Byrd

Defo agree lol I was too late to say my piece on this but logistically I'm with Tony. Like there has been plenty of damage caused by the Avengers directly that can't be ignored. Like Hulk in particular in the first Avengers movie. But neither side is fully wrong here. Cap always follows what's right, but here he lied to his close friend to protect Bucky. The first bad thing Cap has done. But Tony is also fuelled by his guilt. Ultron was quite literally his fault. But I get both sides. People with powers have to be extra careful, more so than normal people. That's just the price of what they do. Hell, Vision, a supercomputer, came to the same conclusion that they contribute to destruction and death from conflict simply by existing. So there's points to both sides.

Lorenzo Baxter

Wanda, Bucky, Vision just causing injury and death to people in this movie. And Cap. I remember this was the movie where I started to dislike him. Team Tony Stark all the way. That man is literally THE HERO. 😊

Dess Balmas

Typed this early in the episode lol

Joseph Gragnano

So you know yes Bucky does have a serum in his body along with the metal arm. That’s why he can go hand to hand with cap and black panther as well and do more than any other average person

Joseph Gragnano

Tell that to the people who lost their loved ones, they can't get a pass because people who lost will blame them.

Blacck Velvet

I was tipsy and curious I hope people aren’t thinking I’m trying to be rude, I absolutely love ThePerfectMix and have been watching them since the first reaction Saving Private Ryan! Keep it up you two have so many reactions now it’s crazy!

Wanedcrecent

I've seen a lot of people comment on how the 'young Tony' looks so CGI, and it makes me giggle. That's really how young RDJ looked. It's like they just got the guy off the set of Johnny Be Good or Chances Are to play the part.

Holly R

They made this movie very well... I hope these films get you guys possibly into the comics and original stories themselves. The storyline for the actual Avengers "Civil War" comic that this film is inspired from is SOOOOOO much more detailed and world encompassing, in that story they try to put ALL super powered beings on Earth from Marvel under governmental control including groups like X-men, the fantastic 4, and all other heros in Marvel. Its one of the most complicated and popular Marvel stories ever written.

Justin Cross

There’s always civilian casualties but besides the ultron event, all the threats weren’t their fault and did whatever they could to protect the innocent. They get blamed when aliens kill people? It’s an unfair ask

Fujipredator

One thing people keep saying is they saved the world but tell that to the people who lost loved one, lives are destroy and The Avengers just go home. How does that work for those people?

Blacck Velvet

Awesome reaction guys! I believe the next mcu movie is Doctor Strange

Alex

Yeah but if caps team went all out Wanda would’ve ended them all all by herself

David

team black widow lol

leslie martin

It's important to know and remember that Captain America will ALWAYS be on the side of what's right and true.

MotoDork

Doctor Strange is next.

MochanAmazing

Doctor strange is really good

Carolyn

It was masterfully done in Winter Soldier that unless you stopped the movie and analysed the Zola conversation it was so quick that it was very easy to not retain the information that Bucky killed Howard. The MCU was so epic

SavageDiplomat

Not including The Avenger movies i believe that the Captain America trilogy is the best hands down. They are all just so complex with multiple layers. Its not just standard superhero movie's where good guy defeats bad guy. Top class. Great reaction as always. Doctor Strange next.

SavageDiplomat

So Tom Holland was 19 and spiderman was 15 in this. Also I don't think the people's idea of the avengers had much to do with the accords it was the governments. Why wouldn't the governments want the power of the avengers under their leash. As for my opinion about the sides. This was a fun movie because I was fully team cap, I don't trust the governments to choose what the avengers should do and bucky wasn't to blame. But my boyfriend who had lost his mom (to a less violent end) was cheering on Tony and he somewhat believed that the avengers were dangerous. In the end both Tony and cap had emotional responses and both were wrong in a way but neither were to blame

Rigs216

Cap found out that hydra killed Tony’s parents in his second movie “the winter soldier” when him and black widow went in to the ground to find the old Shield base and they discovery that shield was taken over basically by hydra, the ai Zola showed them on the computer that they killed Tony’s parents which he probably concluded they made Bucky do it

j0-2TiMEZz

Tony and Bruce created Ultron, unlike the other incidents the Sarkovia situation is all their/avengers fault

TC24

god bless

Zach Bogren

This is all new to them and I'm sure it was a slip of the tongue. They worked it out a few minutes later anyways so it's fine.

DaftBasterd

In the beginning of the video you said this movie is Captain America Winter Soldier. Why? This movie is actually called Civil War, not Winter Soldier.

Wanedcrecent

Y’all gotta remember tony told his team to go easy on them😂 they could’ve easily wiped them out but they wanted them all alive and somewhat okay

Simon

Doctor Strange is next

Chriis Josiiah

Doctor Strange next.

Mark

Team Cap all the way. Let's get to Infinity War already!! Lol

Chase Taylor

wait they have to watch Docter Strange

Edward Paul

The next movie is Doctor Strange. Great movie as well with Benedict Cumberbatch.

Jo-El Brown

Cap also knew about Howard and Maria dying in a car crash from winter soldier when he and Natasha was listening to Zola and he informed them hydra motives but he didn't know at that time the winter soldier killed them.

Rashad Walker

Well like Tony said the accords would've happen to the Avengers later on in the future anyways so in that aspect i'd fight for Tony but i think i would jump ship if i found out ab the other 5 super soldiers bc that is a bigger priority than the Avengers having a internal conflict.

Anthony Frye

The mind stone in Vision’s head is the same infinity stone that gave Wanda her powers, so that’s also why they have such a deep connection. The stone used to be inside Loki’s staff. Hydra used it on Wanda and her brother Pietro right before Age of Ultron. And then Ultron broke the staff and attached the stone to Vision’s body.

Joseph

Great reaction yall! Keep it going!

Moua Yang

Next is Doctor Strange, Guardians of the galaxy vol. 2, Spider-Man: Homecoming, Thor: Ragnarok, Black Panther, and finally Avengers: Infinity War.

Jarick Richardson

Bucky is a super soldier like steve. Remember hydra experimented on him when they got captured. That's how he survived the fall off the train

Rashad Walker

Both sides of the argument have seem resonable, but which side do you land on? Who would you fight with?

Mrvideotape

Of note: Bucky does have more than just the special arm, he was given some sort of knockoff of the Captain America serum while he was being held prisoner. That was how he survived falling off of the train in the 1st movie. Bet we can tell from the movies, it was a pretty good attempt at copying the serum, because Bucky more or less matches Cap in his abilities.

Comic Story: Some notes about the differences between the Comic Civil War and the MCU. In the comic The New Warriors (Night Thrasher, Namorita, Speedball, and Microbe) battle a group of villains (Cobalt Man, Speedfreek, Coldheart, and Nitro all B and C list Villains and hero's) in Stamford, Connecticut, while filming a reality television show. Nitro explodes, killing more than 600 people (including school children and all of the New Warriors except Speedball). The rest of the superheroes appear in Stamford to search for survivors from X-Men, Avengers, Fantastic Four, and other solo hero's. The Superhero Registration Act comes into play with many hero's agreeing to sign after what happened in Stamford while other hero's decide not to sign as that would mean registering with the federal government as a "human weapon of mass destruction," reveal their true identity to the authorities, and undergo training. Iron man is pro signing while Captain America is anti signing same as the film. MCU Differences: The MCU instead of the The Superhero Registration Act we have the The Sokovia Accords. The Avengers Will No Longer Be A Private Organization And Are Subject To Government Oversight, No Superhero Is Allowed To Operate Outside Of Their Own Country Without UN Approval, Using Superpowers To Break The Law Or Engage In Vigilante Activity Means Indefinite Detention Without Trial, The Use Of Technology To Grant Superpowers Will Be Regulated, Section 36B: The Creation Of Self-Aware Artificial Intelligence Is Prohibited. Spider-Man: Another big difference is Peter was in his early 20s in the comic and was already Spider-Man for a good number of years while in the MCU Peter is only 15 maybe early 16 so barely a year as Spider-Man. He also gets his first "real" suit from Tony Stark in this film a high tech one while in the comics and other Spider-Man movies Peter creates his own suit or gets one tailored using skintight cloth, most likely Spandex or something similar and doesn't develop his higher tech suits until years later. So the MCU Spider-Man has a pretty big advantage early in his Spider-Man journey. Marvel did try to bring in Spider-Man earlier but Sony (Who own the movie rights) was working on their own Spider-Man movies at the time with the Amazing Spider-Man featuring Andrew Garfield. There's even versions of the Civil War script without Spider-Man if the Sony and Marvel deal did not go through. Marvel Studios did come to Sony with the idea of adding Avengers Tower to the background of Amazing Spider-Man 2 which would've made those MCU film with Andrew Garfield acting as the MCU Spider-Man but it was too late as the visual effects were done for the film. If this did happen we would've had two movies of Spider-Man doing his more grounded street level thing going through High School and then we'd dive into Civil War where an older Spider-Man in his college years would've taken part in this battle and maybe would've been given a new suit just like the comics. Spider-Man MCU Question: On you're question about Spider-Man being in the MCU. Tom Hollands films are co-produced by Columbia Pictures and Marvel Studios, and distributed by Sony Pictures. Originally you couldn't watch them on Disney Plus but over the past year to months they've been added to the platform. So maybe that's why you didn't see them on the list. It's also why you'll see the Columbia Pictures and Sony logo appear when you watch the MCU Spider-Man films. MCU is the (Marvel Cinematic Universe) but movies like the Sam Rami Spider-Man films from the 2000s and the Marc Webb Amazing Spider-Man films are outside of the MCU. Same goes with Venom etc. Pretty much if you don't see the "Marvel Studios" intro then it's not apart of the MCU. The Villain: The villain of this movie is Baron Helmut Zemo who is very important to the comic's tends to be shown in a red mask with some pretty cool skin tight royal looking outfit along with a sword. There's a whole line of Baron Zemo's who all share the same name with one of the more iconic ones being one from WW2 who fought Captain America. He doesn't show up in the MCU though but he's also depicted wearing a mask as well and maybe Captain America met him in WW2 we just never saw it.
