Episode 23 Banner Development

I still really like this first design, but our editor said it’d be better to get something more kiss-y 😂 It’s kind of hard to show all the elements of the story with one image so it was a struggle! We’re very happy with the end result though.
The second image here I actually sketched out before starting work on EP 22. I basically never sketch anything out in advance, the only exceptions are (SOME) new characters, the Basanko Family picture & this. I wanted them to match since they’d finally come to an understanding, lol... Emily colored in the pants Emile was folding in Episode 19 quite dark so that helped a bunch. Also if anyone can figure out what Yuzuru Hanyu costume inspired Emile’s costume design for this one gets a medal (it ended up not looking similar at all 😂)
