Added 2025-06-09 04:24:40 +0000 UTCI thought this one would be hard without our C, but they did such a good job and I loved our three cutie friends in this one! I feel like it had callbacks and aspects of all of the previous and I’m just continually impressed by this franchise

Just me in thinking it was pretty much a tweaked rehash of the last movie, I mean I didn't mind it they have all been decent popcorn flicks. I think your gonna need to adjust that brightness at somepoint as it seems to take you a while to see whats happening during the dark scenes.

2025-06-12 00:16:47 +0000 UTCJust finished watching this one. This was a first watch for me. When it came time to see this movie at the cinema, for some reason or another I couldn't be bothered. I'm now regretting that decision. This was a fantastic movie, and I'm gutted I didn't get to see it on the big screen while I had the chance. The cast did a fantastic job, and the motion capture and graphics were excellent. At no point was I thinking I was watching CGI characters, which meant I could focus on the story being told. Freya Allan was fantastic in this movie. And despite not having too much dialogic, she nailed the American accent too. I love how they ended this movie. It makes me really excited for one coming out in 2027. Dichen Lachman is great in everything, so I look forward to seeing her role in the next one, which I assume will be more human focused. I just had to look up who voiced Raka. I knew I recognised his voice. It's the same actor who plays Lt. Cmdr. Bortus in The Orville. That's another series I'm hoping gets on Cassie's radar. Given she's now a Trekkie I have no doubt she'll love The Orville too. P.s. I really hope Cassie looks up who played Nova / Mae (Freya Allan), and sees she was in The Witcher, along with Henry Cavill. That's another series I would love for Cassie to react to.
