Christmas Movie Poll

Here is a more modern Christmas movie poll! This seems like such a random list haha I'm looking forward to see how this goes!

Update incoming!

Comments

Christmas Chronicles.... Jeez the best new holiday movie going. Kurt Russell is St. Nick!!!!!!

gilgath

Both women have commented that they love when co-stars get together in a romantic, non home-wrecking way.

Javier Hernandez

I approve of a month of Summer Schlockbuster movies and would add Mr Nanny, Miami Connection, Hell Comes to Frogtown and Sharknado

mikethemotormouth

It's not on your list but y'all should watch a much more recent Christmas Movie... Violent Night :)

PopeyeNelson

I was just thinking I'd love to see your reaction to Edward Scissorhands. I guess I joined at the right time!

Esther Boogie

Agree except for beetlejuice. Hate all Tim Burton movies. I’m going to watch though just to see Cassie’s shocked reaction to it lol

brooke atkins

Christine Baranski is the stealth MVP of the film. Very, very funny movie.

Matt Rose

I love Edward Scissorhands SO much and I'm excited to see you discover it. I'm a part-time film composer, and Danny Elfman's score for this film was one of the most inspiring things to me when I was very first starting. Enjoy! :)

Eric J Watkins

I voted for The Ref, is totally underrated.

Joe M

She enjoyed SLEEPY HOLLOW.

Stick Figure Studios

All of them?

Stick Figure Studios

Edward Scissorhands is Johhny Depp at his best but it is borderlne Christmas movie but a great creative script. Winona Ryder also very good. Big hit with female demographic. For whatever reason I am unable to make a mark in the circle.

Paul Rich

Lol, yea, Tim's not for everyone :)

3dbadboy1

Of you could just call So bad it's good poll. Doesn't really need branding (not like anybody is going to make money on it) and muck up the already crowded Halloween schedule.

Richard Maurer

i hate Tim Burton movies

pat on

Looks like Edward is going to win. So happy. Just remember, Cassie, it's a FAIRY TALE. Don't try to apply real world logic to it.

Joe Monroe

I’d bet she’d like the remake more than the original. 90s movies have the nostalgia factor.

Luke Godfrey

It's the remake. She already watched the good one.

David Conroy

Agreed. I don't care if it loses. Voting on principle.

BRIAN NICHOLS

Miracle on 34th Street (a movie Cassie would adore) is in 4th place in a Christmas poll!! I’m speechless. 😱

Luke Godfrey

That is the beauty of free will. You don't have to. You can actually choose what you want to watch. Pretty cool, hey?

Brian McGovern

There's Christmas lights everywhere (3rd act) and of course the Christmas Party that Peg throws. :)

Philip Alan

She has hated all other Tim Burton movies (edit- on the channel), so I wouldn't throw out a guarantee too quickly.

Mike Lemon

How does that help?

Bill W

I'm not watching S*** movies unless it's an episode of MST3K.

Bill W

Wino Forever.

rakesh

I saw that one man stage play at the old vic in london. It was marvelous. I was awestruck... because well.. it was Captain Picard.

rakesh

Yep DItto.

rakesh

it's the snowy part that makes it christmasy :)

3dbadboy1

I expect she will enjoy Danny Elfman's soundtrack..

Celeste McAllister

Because of the branding. “ Schlocktober” would not work anywhere else. I guess you could call it “ Dismay”.

Brian McGovern

Yeah I was thinking the same thing. And its probably been 30 years for me as well.

Thoko

If she were to watch Ed Wood, she should watch Plan 9 From Outer Space too,and preferably first.

Richard Maurer

Why October (other than the branding)? October is already crowded with non-horror movies. A bad movie poll could be done anytime of the year.

Richard Maurer

Would love to see Cassie cringe for an hour and a half.

Al Swearengen

Haven't seen Edward Scissorhands in 30 years. Is that a Christmas movie? Don't remember anything Christmasy about it

Al Swearengen

I think Cassie has already seen Starman.

Steve Smith

I would love to see Bad Santa on this poll!

Johnny

I also think Cassie and Carly would enjoy Starman with Jeff Bridges of Big Labowski fame.

John Liebling

Besides watch great acting form the 30s,. 40s. 50s, and 60s - be they dramatic roles or musicals...Cartoon fun during the holidays, or throughout 2024...such as: 1967 Jungle Book, UP, Zootopia, Moana, and Finding Nemo.

John Liebling

This is a woman who had never seen The Wizard of Oz until just two years ago. Nothing should surprise you when it comes to movies she has not seen.

Mark Vaderr

She's already seen Twilight, can't get much lower than that.

Mark Vaderr

I saw the livestream and it seems obvious to me that we are spoiling Cassie with the quality movies. I think we need to be seeing a few D’s on the ranking list. I am going to suggest (again) having a brief theme in October and call it Schlocktober and recommend The Room, Birdemic, plan 9 from Outer Space.

Brian McGovern

Not sure if serious or taking the piss. I guess it has as much right to be considered a Christmas movie as Lethal Weapon or Die Hard.

Brian McGovern

Edward Scissorhands is a Cassie AND Carly movie. They MUST watch it together. Shame if Carly has already seen it. Surprised to find out that Cassie has not seen it.

Brian McGovern

Edward Scissorhands if it wins, you gonna like it I guarantee it.

FranciscoGios

It's a shame that the one truly great modern Christmas movie, Eyes Wide Shut, is not represented here.

Henry Graham

I sent her a fresh DVD of "Trapped in Paradise" and I'm certain they would both love it.

Ronald Carpenter

I personally think Ed Wood (1994) is Tim Burton's best film. I would love to see Cassie react to that one day. Wonderful, beautiful film!

JONATHAN REDFERN WILLIAMS

I'm fairly certain she'd love Big Fish. I expect big smiles as well as big tears.

mikethemotormouth

No it's the prequel, Santa's origin story

Hail to the King

It takes a few times watching Edward Scissorhands to actually enjoy it. Without spoiling the Movie the origins of snow. is a weird concept.

Doc Larry

I agree. I like both those movies of course but The Ref is very much a Christmas movie. I’ve seen it more than Christmas Vacation hahaha!

Kristen

KKBB is the best movie on this list and it’s not even close.

Jason Murawski

Cassie has seen Noelle. Office Christmss Party was not great. Never heard of most of those.

Bill W

I hope that one day they watch the 1999 adaptation of A Christmas Carol starring Sir Patrick Stewart, it's really good. It's based on Stewart's one man stage performance of the book.

Michael Leung

I really want The Ref to win! Been a while since I've seen it, but that's way more of a Christmas movie than Edward Scissorhands and Kiss Kiss Bang Bang.

Jacob Colson

Awe, The Ref! Classic! We used to quote it in high school like a bunch of weirdos. “Slipper socks! Medium!”

Kristen

Is it Miracle on 34th street?

Arne Bjørnebekk

One Magic Christmas needs to be on here. One of the great Christmas movies of all time.

Stan the Man

I say stop trying to ruin Halloween for other people.

Richard Maurer

Earnest is best in small doses......I take that back, I couldn't even stand him in small doses. Could not even imagine watching an entire movie of his.

Richard Maurer

If it sweetens the deal, Winona Ryder and Johnny Dep dated for a long time after they met on the set of Edward Scissorhands.

Javier Hernandez

With respect. It’s because the poll is which of these films do people want her to watch for -add in this occasion/theme- which is what people are voting for. The poll isn’t a what’s the best Christmas movie.

Don

If Edward Scissorhands does not win, I'm cancelling Christmas 😡

John Cranberry

Whoa. Relax! I was playing. Let’s rephrase as - I don’t like any of those types of Christmas movies. So I voted for the ONE film on the pole that I do like. Let’s not be getting into withdraw your vote territory. Or attacking people for not liking certain types of films. We all discuss the films selected for the poles in this thread. If there was not a film I liked then I wouldn’t vote as I haven’t on several poles. Let those of us who hate traditional Xmas films hate them and let the people who love them love them. In the middle let’s just talk about the films. And for the record if a romantic comedy was included on a Halloween pole you’re entitled to vote for it because it’s one of the films offered for voting. No need to be a martyr about it. You be good and you be gracious and let people talk about the movies and vote for the movies they want to vote for. If the film YOU want doesn’t get picked then I’m sorry but it will likely come around again. And again most importantly just relax.

Don

Well it's kiss kiss bang bang obviously.

rakesh

I try to keep a broad definition. Die Hard is a Christmas movie. Edward Scissorhands and Gremlins are Christmas movies. But Kiss Kiss... no way. The thing is the Christmastime setting isn't about the holiday. It's about underlining how weird and fake and over-sexualized Hollywood is, using perversions of familiar Christmas iconography as a point of comparison.

Robin T

Kiss Kiss Bang Bang is without a doubt one of the best written films this century. A holiday whodunit with career-best performances from everyone in it. Even if it isn't watched this season, it should be watched whenever possible.

sarCC

She did enjoy SLEEPY HOLLOW. If she ever sees BIG FISH, I think she'd like that one too.

Stick Figure Studios

I think she would really like BIG FISH.

Stick Figure Studios

It's a LA xmas movie. It even starts with RDJ trying to get a xmas gift, so if Jingle All The Way is a xmas movie, it is, too. On a more serious note, like classic xmas movies like It's A Wonderful Life, it's about characters who have lost their way, unsure of their worth during the xmas season and their ultimate realization of their own self-worth and their effect on those they care about.

sarCC

I like a lot of these movies (yes, even ERNEST SAVES CHRISTMAS)., but I'm voting for EDWARD SCISSORHANDS. One of Tim Burton's best. P.S. While the original MIRACLE ON 34TH STREET is the better movie, the remake ain't bad avd actually has my personal favorite cinematic Santa Claus in Richard Attenborough.

Stick Figure Studios

The Ref isn't going to win but I really hope you get around to it someday. Brilliantly written movie, both the comedy and characterizations are razor sharp. A holiday staple in our house. (And it's inarguably a Christmas movie... unlike SOME titles on this list..)

Robin T

She watched the original last year. I believe that’s why it’s in last

David Freese

She watched the original last year. It’s on Patreon and YouTube

David Freese

She watched the original last year. I think that’s part of the reason it’s not doing well

David Freese

She watched the original last year as well. So that might be a reason as well

David Freese

The original was reacted to by PiB last year if you’d like that for a reaction

David Freese

To all those perplexed by not having Miracle on 34 th street picked she does have the original reacted to from last year. It’s the better version anyway

David Freese

I’m hoping for Mars Attacks one day but Batman Returns might be awhile since she tea didn’t like Batman 89

David Freese

Giving Cassie's upbringing and exposure to certain films, Edward Scissor hands will be much more entertaining Reaction vudeo to us "weirdos." These films make Christmas feel like home for us. Sending Christmas hugs either way man! Merry Christmas/ Happy Holidays!

Kelvin Cruz (@KILLVINKRUEGER)

Well said!

Kelvin Cruz (@KILLVINKRUEGER)

I'd watch that marathon.

Kelvin Cruz (@KILLVINKRUEGER)

Cassie should watch all the Ernest movies 🤣

ExploreWinnipeg

I love The Ref. It won't win but I think it's pretty underrated.

David Thibodeau

Pretty sure I remember Cassie saying she has seen Chronicles.

Shawn Kildal

Kiss Kiss Bang Bang is SO good. Smart and original and hilarious.

Rosanne Stewart

I voted Edward Scissorhands, but I recommend A Very Harold & Kumar Christmas. Since Cassie and Carly both enjoyed Die Hard, they probably would enjoy Violent Night. If you're interested in more traditional family Christmas options, watch the Peanuts Christmas specials: A Charlie Brown Christmas, It's Christmastime Again, Charlie Brown, Charlie Brown's Christmas Tales, and I Want a Dog for Christmas, Charlie Brown. The 4 of them together would equate to a 2 hour movie.

Rod Reavern

Edward Scissorhands…one of Tim Burton’s best movies. Dianne Weist, like in many other movies Cassie has reacted to, is great as Winona Ryder’s mom. I think Cassie said in one of her reactions…she’s the mom in everything! Lol

Dan M

The original Miracle on 34th Street was brilliant, but skip the remakes.

David Conroy

Oh right I forgot!

Jason Dolan

I thought she liked SLEEPY HOLLOW?

Steve Colletti

And I agree with that, too!

Steve Colletti

of course, ALL film is subjective

Walter

I was born in 84 so for me the remake is and will always be the best version. It’s the one I grew up watching.

Luke Godfrey

Can't comment on them since I've seen none of them, but the only one I've heard of is the new version of the Nutcracker. Are any of them actually popular enough to win a poll?

Richard Maurer

the remake - cool. I've always been partial to the original. It's a great story regardless

Walter

The Christmas Chronicles 1 & 2, North pole 1 & 2, Noelle, The Nutcracker and the Four Realms, The Santa Clauses season 1 & 2, Office Christmas Party, dolly partons christmas of many colors circle of love, and just this year, The Genie, Candy Cane Lane and The Naughty Nine, which are all streaming.

Craig Russell

Definition of "art is subjective"

mikethemotormouth

I feel the same way about Trapped in Paradise(1994)

mikethemotormouth

How much longer do I have to wait for Mars Attacks!(1996)? Or Batman Returns(1992)? Or Big Fish(2003)?

mikethemotormouth

I would have at least considered LKG, not sure I would have voted for it over ES.

Richard Maurer

Were there a lot good Xmas movies in the 18 yrs. that she overlooked?

Richard Maurer

Until Edward Scissorhands needs help to stay in 1st, my vote goes to Ernest

mikethemotormouth

There is another Christmas Adjacent film missing from this poll, that would’ve gotten my vote over the other two… The Long Kiss Goodnight (1996). Hopefully next time. For now, I’m just hanging out with my old pal Vern, since it looks like Ernest won’t be coming over this Christmas. (I’ve never seen him so deliriously cheerful before.) Also for future Christmases, there is a Christmas Heist film starring Nicolas Cage… Trapped in Paradise (1994). And another… If Cassie ever gets around to watching the Look Who’s Talking films, starring John Travolta and Kirstie Alley and the comedic voice work of Bruce Willis, the Third film in the Trilogy, Look Who’s Talking Now (1993), is actually a pretty good Christmas Film, featuring the voices of Danny Devito and Diane Keaton as the dogs.

Larry Darrell

Voted Edward Scissorhands because it's the best movie on the poll that I've actually seen.

Richard Maurer

A modern movie poll where the newest is 18 years old???

Craig Russell

yeah I agree, the mob follows the group

zynjams

Because it's the remake.... but this community seems to have gotten heavy with people who don't like actual Christmas movies. They like regular movies that are just randomly set at Christmas time.

Bill W

I voted for Prancer, since it is a feel-good movie that doesn't get much notice.

Franklin Silberzahn

8 bit christmas is the best newer christmas movie

zynjams

I feel like the two highest voted aren't really Christmas movies ... The Ref, is a diamond in the rough though lol ... how did you come upon this suggestion lol ... I vote The Ref, just beacause :)

justin swan

oh hell yes, KKBB making a good showing!

Matt Rose

I voted for Ernest Saves Christmas as I believe it's not a very well known film. I'll be very surprised if it wins. I believe Edward Scissorhands will get the top spot.

ROBERT CLARK

Trivia Fact on Edward Scissorhands: It features The Breakfast Club (1985) actor Anthony Michael Hall as Winona Ryder's unpleasant boyfriend in Edward Scissorhands (1990)

JONATHAN REDFERN WILLIAMS

I guess no one has suggested the wonderful Christmas film REMEMBER THE NIGHT (1940) but it should be on anyone's seasonal movie list. I voted for EDWARD SCISSORHANDS because my girlfriend at the time had a small role in it and I drove her to and from set, she didn't have a driver's license yet,, not to mention it's an absolutely wonderful film.

Robert Jewell

You should remove the ability for people to change their vote after seeing the results. I have a feeling many are getting changed due to perceived 'peer pressure' or a desire for 'mass acceptance' which skews the results.

Mark Schamber

I voted Edward Scissorhands (1990), which I believe is a Christmas movie and have watched several times. Paraphrasing of what I read online: The latter portion of the film centers around the Christmas season. A festive time in the neighborhood, with lights strung up and decorated trees throughout, and Edward sculpting. Also, a narrative between grandmother and grandchild with a Christmas notion. The film would be different if the setting were not Christmas time. The movie captures the magical feeling of the season while conveying classic Christmas themes. A good movie to have as a recurring watch every December. The movie indicates that even in the season of goodwill, we can forget to treat others, especially those less fortunate, with grace, understanding, and love. For many, Christmas can be one of the most difficult times of the year, and joyful movies don’t always represent everyone, especially those who may be struggling around the holidays. In Edward Scissorhands, we receive an important message of accepting people’s differences and celebrating our dysfunction even when surrounded by Christmas cheer. Through the moving story, brilliant score, and staggering visuals only Tim Burton could devise, Edward Scissorhands serves as a beacon of light to the outcasts around the holidays.

Clay F

Very diverse poll, Cassie. Love it!

Mark Vaderr

It's a different movie. Not as in your face as Beetlejuice, and not as comic book/gothic like as Batman. It has a fairy tale feel to it. Cassie just might enjoy it.

Mark Vaderr

I get the impression that Cassie has seen a number of Modern Day Christmas movies from 2005 and beyond. Which is why this poll wasn't easy to put together.

Mark Vaderr

I say Ernest saves Christmas and Ernest Scared Stupid for Halloween next year

Ronny Boss

Thought it would’ve been on this poll.

Larry Darrell

KKBB - Cassie is going to love this...

Jason Haigh-Ellery

As much as I LOVE Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang, The Ref is a woefully under-appreciated film and probably Denis Leary’s best work.

Brian Lowery

Edward Scissorhands is an iconic cult classic. It's an absolute must-see. The whole movie is meme-worthy to say the least. Honestly, I feel like you're going to have to watch every Tim Burton movie because of their historical value.

Kuskesh Haramzadeh

I honestly cannot believe Miracle on 34th Street isn’t winning by a landslide. It’s like the people in this community don’t know Cassie at all. 🤦🏻‍♂️

Luke Godfrey

Had to vote for the 1999 Christmas Carol, personally of all the versions of the classic this is my very favorite, I even bought it on Amazon Prime so I can make sure and watch it every year. My second choice would be The Ref which my brother Mike gave me for a gift back when it was new, a very funny Christmas story in its own right!

Allen W. McDonnell

It's very good, but it's not a Christmas movie.

Bill W

Edward ✂️ 🙌! The Ref is a close second. Very underrated and hilarious.

Maxoutkast

If it was the original I'd agree with you, but I didn't care for the remake. As far as the non-Christmas movies being on the poll- the squeaky wheel gets the grease. Those are from the people who are most vocal about what they want.

Bill W

I understand and appreciate your 'valid' position on this matter. You are NOT an Xmas films person. I get it. I feel EXACTLY THE SAME about our annual month-long horrorfest in Oct. BUT you know what I DON'T DO... I don't assert myself by voting for a romantic comedy 13 days before Halloween! Be good. Be gracious. Do yourself a FAVOR and give everyone else the gift of withdrawing your vote for your preferred, but inappropriate movie now, and suggest it for another poll, at a better time. Thank you.

Terry Yelmene

Oh wow that was surprising. Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang is one of my favorites but I had to vote for the Miracle on 34th Street remake. It is a wonderful.

Erik Daniel

Exactly!!!

Jerrod Acree

The Ref is the prefect modernish Christmas movie. I will die on that hill.

Juan Duchene

Ok Gen Xers! How do you not pick The Ref?! Seriously?! 😂

Jerrod Acree

She's seen the original

Jon

I guess if The Reverant could be considered an animal movie here, than why not also KKBB as a Christmas movie. These polls sometimes...

Shawn Kildal

I don't understand why more people don't want miracle on 34th st?

Timothy Silva

Right?!

Bill W

Johnny - a lot of people have not seen Kiss Kiss Bang Bang.

Bill W

Here we go again with strange Patreon community choices. Edward Scissorhands? Really? Sigh.... it's a Christmas poll. Ah well.

Caomhan84

It Happened on Fifth Avenue (1947).

Grinznmore

Agree 100%. Saw Edward Scissorhands when it first came out. I thought it was ok but highly overrated and nothing has happened to change my mind. Kiss Kiss Bang Bang is much better.

Just Plain Bob

It’s not on the poll but Cassie has a copy. I watch this every Christmas to restore my faith in humanity. https://youtu.be/-cSrqRdlFeo?si=Dc7wT9zro7PKFpBi

Lamar Smith

Agree. It's not a Christmas movie, but it's the best movie on the list.

Bill W

“The Ref” is a must watch for Christmas. If not this Christmas, then save it on the poll for next year. I sent this movie to my church-going, No-Profanity-Please-Parents one holiday, and strangely it’s one of their favorites also. “The Ref” stars comedian Denis Leary, Kevin Spacey and Judy Davis.

Ike

Saw Prancer in theaters I know it won’t win but I am going to rewatch this year

Nicole

I just don't think that Tim Burtons style clicks with Cassie based on Beetlejuice and Batman 89. Obviously I could be wrong and maybe she'll enjoy Edward Scissorhands but I went with kiss kiss bang bang

Choof

Because its the 1994 remake.

Bill W

i know right, i wonder wether that hurt this movies chances. i think cassie and carly would have both adore it too

david smith

How can a Christmas Movie Poll possibly have 'Miracle on 34th Street' coming last... behind movies that aren't even Christmas movies? I mean... the single greatest film ever made about believing in the magic of Christmas... really folks... Magic of Christmas - Cassie? Don't you want that!!!

Terry Yelmene

The one in the poll 😉

Luke Godfrey

Which ever movie gets chosen it will be good reaction. Cassie is the best at this.

Zachary K. (Verified Swiftie)

You mean 24th Street?

Z Simons

only 10 % for miracle on 34th street i despair for this community

david smith

I HATE proper traditional Christmas movies. HATE them. As we’ve already had the best two in Die Hard and Lethal Weapon I have to go for kiss kiss bang bang. The movie that saved RDJ’s career.

Don

Edward Scissorhands (1990) 🥰

Grégory Gautier

Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang is great but Edward Scissorhands is Edward Freaking Scissorhands

Godzilla Jones

The ref is such a funny movie

Gary Michael Bumanglag

A modern Christmas movie poll but not one movie newer than 2005? Lol okay.

shaneth138

I’ve not seem any of these films, but apparently Kiss Kiss is supposed to be outstanding.

Sean

The ref is a great movie

Chris Visvardis

I agree.

_tragicmike

Cassie watched beetlejuice which is Tim Burton and she didn’t like it at all. I have a feeling she’s not going to get or understand Edward scissorhands. It’s such a bizarre weird movie. I don’t care for it myself. Even Winona and the great Diane weist couldn’t get me to like that movie. It’s just to far out there for me. But good luck Cassie. This should be an interesting watch for everyone lol 🤦‍♀️

brooke atkins

EDWARD SCISSORHANDS is my favorite movie. KISS KISS BANG BANG would be my second choice.

_tragicmike

I would rather an actual Christmas movie be watched, but realise it is foolish to argue with popular opinion.

Mike LL

Seeing how far behind it is, I had to throw in with the KKBB crowd. No one should have to sit through ES.

Mike H

You should watch Long Kiss Goodnight!

Jennifer Taylor

Yeah I don't understand why anyone would pick that over Kiss Kiss Bang Bang.

Johnny

"The Christmas Chronicles", starring Kurt Russell as Santa, is a FUN modern-day Christmas Movie! My favorite is still 1983's "A Christmas Story"!

Sam White

the original or this remake?

Walter

Edward Scissorhands! Tim Burton's best movie, closely followed by Batman Returns, which is also a fun Christmas watch.

Nick Ireland

Kiss Kiss Bang Bang is such a great movie - hope it wins!

Johnny

I guess The Ref. Only one I haven't seen and many people like it. The others not so much.

thansen

Miracle on 24th St., where the parade is in the Flatiron District instead of by Macy's....

Cliff Endicott

nope. Very disappointing.

Walter

Yeah I’m with you on that thought it was just me lol.

Dean Holt

guys, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang is the best movie on this list by far. Edward Scissorhands?! That is...disheartening.

Walter

I can’t believe The Ref is one here!!! It’s my favorite Christmas movie. Such a hidden gem. 🎄

Jaime Hernandez

I feel like we have to make her watch EDWARD SCISSORHANDS just to KNOW if she can like Tim Burton lol

Jason Dolan

A Christmas Carol 1999 is keeping up with your Star Trek . Ebeneezer Scrooge is portrayed by Sir Patrick Stewart the famous captain Picard Star Trek, The Next Generation A very good adaptation

Doc Larry

I'm sad The Holdovers didn't make this list. It's only on Video on Demand right now, so maybe that's incompatible with how Cassie watches her movies though. But I suspect it's going to get some awards buzz this year and seems destined to be a Christmas classic.

Stranger2Reality

I absolutely love KKBB, had my favorite film adapted from literature podcast react to it recently. But The Ref is my yearly tradition.

Ian from wine country

it's because it's the inferior version

Walter

I would like to see someone react to 'One Magic Christmas' (1985) with Mary Steenburgen (BTTFIII; Parenthood) and Harry Dean Stanton (Alien; Christine). It's one my favorites and so underrated.

David Patterson

As soon as I saw Edward Scissorhands, I knew it was going to be in first. I don't get the love for this movie.

Yaisu

Agreed. I rewatched it last week and that movie is so funny! An absolutely overlooked gem.

Stranger2Reality

Got to go with Kiss Kiss Bang Bang :)

Sam Ciraulo

Miracle on 34th Street, eh?

Stephen Malloy

Edward Scissorhands all day every day. Watch it with Carly.

Joe Monroe

KKBB For myself, this could be a tight finish..

Celeste McAllister

OMG, Christmas or no Christmas, you HAVE to watch Edward Scissorhands! :)

Eric J Watkins

Prancer is a great family Christmas movie. When our girls were young we watched it every year.

Big Mark

Go Go Edward!

Greg S.

I think that's a typing error there Cassie. (Miracle on 24th Street)

ROBERT CLARK

Kiss Kiss Bang Bang and a Merry F****ing Christmas to us all! 😄

Zane From Canada

The Ref never wins, underappreciated

Karen Campos

Miracle On 34th Street is such a feel good Christmas movie! I absolutely love that one

Katie Jackson

The Ref NEEDS TO WIN! 😂

Bryan Fritchie

If Kiss Kiss Bang Bang doesn’t win this I’m flipping over a desk

Jacob M

I really hope Miracle on 34th Street wins, even if Cassie has seen it before. One of my favourite Christmas movies. Watch it on Christmas Day every year without fail.

Luke Godfrey

Even if it doesn't win the poll... I recommend circling back to Kiss Kiss Bang Bang. I think you will dig it.

Michael Enos

I love KISS KISS BANG BANG but am hard-pressed to call it a Christmas film - though it does take place then.

Steve Colletti

Dearest Cassie, I’m SO dumb. I just ordered some merch for McK for Xmas and I put the wrong address on it. I sent them the proper address. Could I impose on you to ask your shipping department about it? I’m SO sorry

Lamar Smith

Kiss Kiss Bang Bang!

Skippy

KKBB is my second favorite unconventional Christmas movie, after the Lion In Winter, and one of my favorite RDJ films!

China Andronicus

😏

Bryan Erickson

KISS KISS BANG BANG! I literally haven’t watched other reactors versions because I’m hoping you do it. The movie that got RDJ Iron Man. Val Kilmer’s funniest performance. It’s so good.

djKENTO

Bad Santa is suspiciously missing...
