[YT Edit] Clue (1985)

Comments

Seeing Tim Curry act in the movie that wasn't The Rocky Horror Picture Show is a hoot! I am convinced he is a vastly under rated actor because of the popularity of RHPS!

Allen McDonnell

I know, what was I thinking?!?!

Barry Justice

And you were worried this would be inappropriate…

Jason Chirevas

Hmm… Objective or Subjective. To Each Their Own.

Larry Darrell

Probably because it's not funny.

Carol_White

I'm sure you guys have seen most of these actors before. Mrs. White - Madeline Kahn (Elizabeth- the monster's bride in Young Frankenstein) Professor Plum - Christopher Lloyd (Doc Brown in Back To The Future, Uncle Fester in The Addams Family movies, ) Colonel Mustard - Martin Mull (Leon from Roseanne, Willard Kraft from Sabrina The Teenage Witch) Wadsworth - Tim Curry (Rooster Hannigan in Annie, Mr. Hector in Home Alone 2) The Cop - Bill Henderson (angry patient yelling at Leon in Lethal Weapon 4)

Rocky Horror Picture Show

Bill W

For a Comedy, ya'll look awfully serious in that thumbnail.

Larry Darrell

And... Mr. Boddy was played by Lee Ving, frontman of the punk rock band Fear. Cassie also saw him in Streets of Fire (1984). Lee Ving wrote and produced a Country song, "No Right to Do Me Wrong" that was performed by the band Range War, and it appeared in the film Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure (1989). Jane Wiedlin also starred in that film as Joan of Arc.

Larry Darrell

I believe the singing telegram girl was Jane Wiedlin, guitarist of the Go-Go's.

David Conroy

Well the this made my day! Thank you guys for sharing this.

Souls Khan

Love this film. Also has Michael McKean

Larry Darrell

Another really good mystery movie is "Radioland Murders". Kinda goofy, but I thought very well done. And as a bonus, it has Christopher Lloyd in it also.

Dan Campbell

That wasn't Susan Sarandon

Dan Campbell

That was actually Lesley Ann Warren playing Miss Scarlet. Don't feel bad, I thought it was SS too for a while.

David Collins

Essential Tim Curry: It (1990) Congo The Shadow

Odd Thomas

Seeing Susan Sarandon and Tim Curry together gave me "Rocky Horror Picture Show" vibes....Cassie, have you seen that yet?

Chris Davis

LOL!

Barry Justice

Single by choice obviously.

Bill W

The board game Clue was introduced in the US in 1950. There are no SNL cast members, although a couple of the actors had made an appearance. (Michael McKeon joined SNL, but not until 1994-95). I feel the humor in Clue is subtle. It's in the performances.

Bill W

“Flames, on the side of my face… breathing, breathe..heaving breathes, heaving breathes”

Trevor Rotan

I mean that Wolf-Whistle in the most innocent way. I don't know when it got a bad rap, but it used to be an innocent flirtation! I know, I know: As Austin Powers would say..."Oh behave".

Barry Justice

I hope this is not inappropriate but Cassie and Carly look particularly beautiful this evening. I wonder if it is the cool Fall air or Murder Mysteries? The real mystery is... how is Carly still single? Wolf-Whistle!

Barry Justice

Unfortunately as I attempted to join in on the premiere, the reaction kept freezing up while the audio was still going, guess you were having technical difficulties lol! Oh well, no worries lol! Just wanted to drop by and say "Hi" even though I was at work, and just wanted to know if you got my package containing the matching shirts for you and Carly when you two watch/react to THE MUMMY '99, sorry for the pestering lol😁 I'll see you at the next YT edit premiere! Have a good Wednesday, love and support, [virtual hug] God bless you, Carly, and your family! PS: I'm glad you're feeling better🥰😁😉😇🙏👍🌹

i never watched any agatha christie movies growing up despite various adaptations and so when with the new oreient express movie cold. It was wonderful, great cast.

rakesh

You should do the Poirot movies. Start with Murder on the Orient Express.

Clue was an a___l movie. (Solve the mystery of the missing letters.) I played the game as I a kid when it came out. I'm not sure when it came out. TV was brand new. We had bunch of board games including Monopoly, Sorry, Battleship, and the Ouija Board. (There is a 2014 movie "Ouija"). The games were fun and family and friends were fun to play with. But back to the movie. It was filled with ex-cast members from SNL with a Mel Brooks script minus the wit and humor. Clue reminded me of the plays we staged in high school with about a week of preparation. The cast members like Madeline Kahn, Eileen Brennan, Tim Curry, Howard Hessman and Christopher Lloyd were all busy actors in 1985. I can't imagine why they felt like they needed to sign up for a movie like Clue. We could have been watching the Treasure of the Sierra Madre.

Christopher Carr

I paid for patreon subscription to you not only because I've watched you for a couple years now and I love your reactions but I really want you and your sister together to watch the movie The Good Son with Macaulay Culkin who was the kid from home alone. It would be a great Halloween movie a scary but not too scary movie. By the way clue is awesome and I'm glad you guys are watching it and I'm happy to give you some support even if it's only $3

Cameron Robinson

Mr Peacock in the ballroom with the revolver! There we go!

Randolph Tirazona

No way!!

Jeffrey Schmidbauer

I’m sure she will prefer this take to the one’s referring to Carly as Cassie’s daughter😂

Cole Jennett

They're not twins???

Jeffrey Schmidbauer

Actually, Cassie has only known Carly for Carly's entire life. 😂

Brian McGovern

Cassie and Carly are so effortlessly entertaining. I like the way they bounce ideas, reactions and interpretations off each other. Real chemistry going on. But, then again, they've known each other their entire lives.

Jeffrey Schmidbauer

Spoiler alert! It was Professor Plum in the Conservatory using a lead pipe.

Jeffrey Schmidbauer

I wonder if Cassie recognized Mrs Peacock from the Sting
