Upcoming!

Hey Choco Tacos

Ok here is the lineup this week. I finished Mando a couple days ago (tears for so many reasons)

We are going to have a 250K LIVE celebration on YT TOMORROW at 5 pm MST, just hanging out, answering questions, maybe a dice game? haven't decided! I will not be opening packages tomorrow, I will do that on a LIVE at the beginning of November!

Then the YT winner 28 days Later, ufd$%@%, then The Crow which I am excited about even though the cover is v scary, but also it seems v festive, BOO! EEK!

October is getting crazy with Halloween parties and activities and we have my son's birthday and my parents are coming for a visit and going to 22 thrift stores trying to piece costumes together for children who change their minds daily :/ and a little getaway for a play we are taking the kids to with their cousins.

I know I keep pushing the trivia night, those are my favorite, so it will be ASAP prom prom!

I would love to hear about your guys' Halloween traditions, spooky movie, hand out candy? fancy dinner? lights out early? Tell me in the comments, I genuinely love hearing stuff like that!

ALSO just FYI still coming this month are SAW, Tremors, Sleepy Hollow and Ghost muhahaha

Ok asta la vista baby!

Comments

That makes it worse then.

Caelin Beaty

Her husband recommended it.

Mike Lemon

Cassie, please don’t watch Saw. As a horror fan and a fan of channel I don’t want to see you watch it. It’s disturbing, it’s not fun, it’s what kicked off the term “torture porn” that was popular in horror for a while, and it’s not even that good of a movie. I feel like people are taking advantage of your willingness to watch scary movies and don’t have your best interest in mind. I love horror but that’s not something I think you’d enjoy.

Caelin Beaty

Watch Boba Fett! Half of it is mandalorian and probably important to the 3rd season.

Michelle Thorpe

Tremors is a classic. Can't wait to see the reaction for 28 Days Later.

Soccerdmon

Me too!

Melinda

That was exactly my reaction when I read that she would be watching Saw. Yikes.

blue warrior

I'd say IV had the best story, the first had the best ending and III had Troy in the trap that got to me the most. Just my two cents.

mikethemotormouth

Great ww2 movies from Finland in general 🙂😄

Björn Karlsson

Talvisota (1989) and Headhunters (2011)

Steve Colletti

Ya the thing could have been way more appropriate if they wanted to push her boundaries, and that reasoning has nothing to do with the violence in either.

Sahitya

I was secretly hoping for The Thing after Halloween last year and Christine this year. And some people were steering her away. Now we got Saw. Woah, 0 - 60 in 2 seconds.

Larry Darrell

You made it further than me, I watched the 2nd and that was it. The n**dl* scene was too much for me.

Larry Darrell

Oh boy. You're watching Saw? Yikes.

Damon

I watched the first one at home and liked it enough to catch the sequel in a theater. I quit, though, after viewing the third. They were just getting worse and worse. Haven't seen any more since.

Stick Figure Studios

YES! The Crow! I can’t wait for you to see and hear it!

Kevin C

I have a sneaking suspicion her team wants to slowly push her boundaries, that's why everyone on her team is giving her the green light, cuz saw seems like a solid step over her horror movie line she seemed to not want to cross. Would be funny if we don't hear any word on it and randomly one night she drops a small update post titled 'Guys I tried' saying she tried to watch it but ran out the room. The whole comment section be like 'at which part?!...oh that's nothing, you didnt even get to (insert the most f'd up part you can remember)....upload whatever you got, I wanna see you run!"

Sahitya

"No other past the First, I think everyone is agreed on that." I love the Saw franchise, plenty of people do. Last few were crap but 1 through 6 is a ride. People always dismiss it as a gore fest but I love the ridiculous plot lines and plot twists. It's the most bizarre soap opera occasionally interrupted by extreme gruesomeness. Not saying Cassie should continue with it but I think it's great.

Firstly, seeing Tremors listed as coming this month is like finding a King-Size Snickers bar under a bunch of Reese's Cups in my Trick 'R' Treat Pillowcase. I'm giving you a Spiritual High-Five right now. Right On!! I've never seen the Crow, but I know it's history. I'm really looking forward to that one. Sleepy Hollow will be fun too, and Ghost will be a Perfect Ending for the month. And you're gonna need it after Saw. Thoughts on Saw: Not something I would have suggested, but a Modern Day Classic that deserves to be seen. No other past the First, I think everyone (Edit: Most) is agreed on that. The first time I saw Saw, back when it came out in 2004, I knew I had seen something that was a game changer for Horror films. It stuck with me for a few weeks so much that I felt like I needed to watch it again. Even on the second viewing, by the end of the film, I was standing behind my couch watching it. I could not comfortably sit still. I haven't watched it again since, but it has always stayed with me. So, a Tip then. Maybe think about using a wide angle lens to film yourself, just in case you have to stand up. Props to You if you can stay in the bed the whole movie. Lastly, I'll just say, Good Luck, and remember your Mantra: It's only a Movie, It's only a Movie, It's only a Movie...

Larry Darrell

Dude I dont know about Saw, I wouldn't lol. But glad you're watching Ghost, that will be right up your alley and it's also a batshit movie that is like 4 genres in one and somehow works

CarSVernon .

Michael, if you wanna see Alexandra Dahlström playing a horrible person. Check this out: From 2018 😄 https://www.uniartsplay.se/banana-pancake-trail

Björn Karlsson

Maybe I will 🤨🤪😂 If not, well then I will ask Dasha 🙂 Looooots of connections to Russia with that movie 😊 Hehe I signed up for a year on Pib in April, so there is still hope 😄

Björn Karlsson

Bjorn, I hope you get that Show Me Love reaction. Thanks for the recommendations, lots of new ones for me to explore.

Michael Threapleton

Yeah thats the one. He is also in Flickering lights as well 😄 Request The hunt and Shehab will be happy 😉🙃🤣

Björn Karlsson

is THE HUNT the one with Mads Mikkelsen? If so, that was excellent. ANOTHER ROUND and RIDERS OF JUSTICE were great as well.

Matt Rose

Here are some other good scandinavian/nordic movies you can check up 🙂 Flickering lights - Denmark April 9th - Denmark The hunt - Denmark The unknown soldier - Finland, Trollhunter - Norway The king's choise - Norway (If you like splatters) Dead snow - Norway The wave - Norway Thanks for the support 😊😊😊😊😊

Björn Karlsson

More hard passes for me. I thought it was the movie choices but have realized it is not. This is like the moment in Kauffman's brilliant Anomalisa (2015) when the fork is scraping against Lisa's teeth and to Michael she morphs into Tom Noonan. My Patreon money is switching to Mia Tiffany and Deep Focus Lens.

Michael Threapleton

Glad to see that you'll be watching The Crow! It's a movie that I watch every year around Halloween.
