I really love these reactions to the old Epics. Nothing like movies which couldn't cut corners and had to be made with scale. Have you considered reacting to "Lawrence Of Arabia". It's often held up as the greatest "Spectacle" movie ever made.

Trivia: the frail Amminadab who has to ride with Pharaoh's daughter is played by the actually frail H.B. Warner, who played Jesus in the silent Bible epic "King of Kings" (1927). Carly and Cassie might remember him as the drunk druggist from "It's A Wonderful Life."

2022-04-19 00:12:05 +0000 UTCCan I just offer a word of praise once again for your editor who cleverly juxtaposed specific commandments with the Israelites simultaneously breaking them at the foot of the mountain. "Thou shalt have no other gods before me." Cut to Aaron fashioning the golden calf. "Thou shalt not kill." Cut to Dathan offering up Lilian as a human sacrifice. You have a very good editor.

From pop, rap, to metal to my man Hanz Zimmer (Who's on my phone cover) film composer. But on the Metal side, Creeping Death by Metallica was on at a pool in Fl. Girl says "thats such a cruel song" as shes just kind of hearing the lyrics. I was like, "well its cruel in a sense, its based on a story in the bible." Als, plays out here in part 2 of this movie some. Hate to take up a huge comment area. But for some reason that popped in my head. I'll just put part of the lyrics down. Just a unique thing most would never guess via them.
