Can't wait to see you watch Hawkeye

Natasha didn’t sacrifice herself for the world, she sacrificed herself so Clint didn’t have to, she did it to save Clint.

And ET lol

Brian, I watched Hawkeye before I saw Black Widow so didn't know the timeline for the series. Two of the most powerful moments in Endgame are the disappearance of Clint's family and Ronin's meeting with Natasha. There seemed to be an incredible amount of potential between those two iconic moments. Clint's confusion and helplessness when he turns around and his daughter has vanished still gives me chills on rewatch. But I fear you are correct that we'll never get to see this now, or witness Steve's reunion with Peggy, or his returning the stones. I'm hanging on to the MCU I loved and not really feeling it for these new series so much.

I have not watched Hawkeye yet, but wouldn't it take place after End Game given him being a target for Yelena? I guess you were hoping for a Hawkeye set between Infinity War and End Game. That would have allowed him to be the star of his own series and then have what I assume we get as a second season. That way we get to see a character arc of his spiral into the Ronin character we briefly saw and his eventual redemption back to Hawkeye. Do you think that approach would have been more palatable to you? I get the feeling that the opportunity to see Ronin has now passed us by unless they retcon the character of Ronin to someone else.

Man my grammar, sorry. Thank God spelling itself doesn't add to sense lol

No offense at all! I love the big main comic stories, like new Batman's, or Spidy! But the deeper Marvel (or whatever) universe, and all the side stories and others, is not my thing. I like the Original Star Wars, Harry Potter, etc, etc. So its not a fantasy thing. I was just not that deep into comics,, outside a few main characters. But these movies do well!!!! So a lot were reading a lot of comics, and I was not aware about it lol. And I either love Scarlett Johansson in some stuff like "The Legend of Badger Vance." Or just,,, not big on Diva types. But she does not seem to always act ultra Diva, just at certain times. Sometimes shes vary down to earth. Depends on show or interview? So a love or not thing there to. Ill go sit in my bad corner now lol, and wait for ET lol. Kidding :) She had a lot of movies I like coming.

The end credits scene does lead straight to Hawkeye. It's amazing how people's tastes can differ. To me Hawkeye is The Complete Emasculation of Clint Barton. He's a secondary character in his own show. Although, to be fair, it does not rise (sink?) to the level of the complete and utter emasculation of Loki. I'd hoped the show would have explored Barton's descent into Punisher-esque, grief-driven badassery after his family were blipped. The final episode could have ended with Natasha giving him hope in the rain. Instead we get quack quack duck trot "Olympic athlete" Kate Bishop.

Please watch the show Hawkeye next. One of my favorites besides Wandavision.

I think you'll really enjoy Hawkeye when/if you get to it!
