Major League - Full Reaction

Well how fun was this one?! There's something about an underdog story, can't believe this movie made me tear up! It made me want to actually watch baseball too! Ok, I asked this question in the reaction after the "Wild Thing" walk to bat song for Charlie Sheen, but I'll ask it here - what would your walk-to-bat song be?

Direct link in case the above player doesn't work.

Major League - Full Reaction

Comments

Hellraiser 30th anniversary edition by Ozzy Osbourne & Motorhead would be my walk up song

Mitchell Jones

RIP Harry Doyle AKA Bob Uecker. They don’t and won’t make another like him

Bill Maurer

I know this is really late, I decided go back and see what movies I missed watching along too. And although, she's the villian in this, Margaret Whitton who played the owner, is so great in the Michael J. Fox movie "The Secret of My Success". Highly recommend it, its a great Rom Com. Sadly she passed due to cancer a few years back or so. Major League has a great cast. Tom Berenger is a good actor too. Highly recommend, Shoot To Kill w/ him and Kirstie Alley, Platoon, Sniper and the mini series he did w/ Kevin Costner and Bill Paxton " Hatfields & McCoys" based on the real life family feud.

Ryan Towell

Finally got to see the full reaction to this one. I remember seeing bits and pieces of it. But now I appreciate it even more now.

Joe M

Speaking of walk out songs LOL Tai Tuivasa in the UFC has the best walkouts in sports ever in the Octogon he's an absolute killer outside the ring he's the softest teddy bear ever and he walks out to Modonna, Brittney Spear,s Aqua and the Barbie girl song you can see them on youtube and they are hilarious everyone loves him for it.

Bryan Escober

Awesomeness. If you're looking for another heartfelt sports movie, try "Slap Shot" with Paul Newman. Fair warning: Hockey's rougher than baseball, but it's great.

Thomas Williamson

.. Let me toss out a 'second that' for Necessary Roughness another replacements come together and win football movie with a good romance sub-plot.

Jon Freezin-Rain

Been watching this movie occasionally since it 1st came out. Major League 2 is very fun also I really feel you would like it. Then there is the female side of things with A League Of Their Own with Tom Hanks and Geena Davis along with Madonna. Has a great heartfelt side to it. Was Directed by Penny Marshall. My walk out song would have to be Bad to the Bone by George Thorogood!

Richard Shepard

Yeah... I have to agree with Jason on this one. ML2 was pretty much a money grab and very shallow/superficial.

Doug Fisher

Are you gonna do a YouTube edit of Major League

Baqi

Since I'd be a pitcher, my song would be "Another One Bites the Dust" by Queen!

Kim Lotarski Szabo

My song would be the Loony Toons theme song.

David Zabel

The serious answer was harder to think of, but I decided “Welcome to the Jungle “ by Guns-n-Roses…. Part of me thinks it would be hilarious to come out to “Walk Like a Man” or “I Can’t Dance”

Stefan

Must emphatically disagree. Watching Major League II would literally be theft of 105 minutes of Cassie’s life.

Jason Chirevas

Please watch Major League 2 it’s just as good as the 1st one

Baqi

I'm thinking something Metallica or Pantera. I absolutely love watching old favorites "with" you Cassie, you are way more fun to watch with than my ex (staying awake is certainly a plus!!)

Mike H

This is a family favorite, I'm glad you had a great time. You'll see a lot of Rene Russo coming up I'm sure, she had an amazing run in the 90's. And she is...wonderful! As for a walkout song I had a 'softer' one in mind too, more on the 'channel level' lol but I gotta be real. It be Dr. Birds by Griselda. p.s. Baseball is considered by many to be 'the most romantic sport' so it makes sense that you love the atmosphere of it all. Even not knowing the game inside and out you sill pick up on that aura because...I think you might be a bit of a romantic eh? lol. Which is why (sorry more stern than usual :) ) you NEED to watch For The Love Of The Game. I mean, it's a romantic comedy that is told during the course of a baseball game! cue the Billy Crystal 'Helloooo". I kid, I'm sure you'll get to it in time. Thanks for this, peace.

Erik Daniel

"check the flava of the rhythm I wrote!"

Erik Daniel

My walk out song would either be "Enter Sandman" - Metallica or "Du Hast" - Rammstein.

Doug Fisher

A classic baseball movie so glad you enjoyed it! One of those I can never get tired of! Another movie similar to this (and replacements) is Necessary Roughness 1991. Again glad you enjoyed Major League its a classic and still holds up!

RJ MacReady

So Cassie, seeing as you said one of your walk on songs would be “Wannabe” by the Spice Girls. I assume you were a big fan growing up. Which begs the question, who is your favorite Spice Girl? 😉

Robert da Spruce

Cassie if you get a chance watch this entire video. It was absolutely magical. The way Indians fans felt in the movie is exactly how we felt here, maybe even more so. https://youtu.be/bNpaIqAgQHw

William Bryan

It's great to start the week with a fun reaction to a fun movie. My walk to bat song will be Iron Maiden's Run to the Hills.

G

The bat walk ups are really short. So if you just like a part of a song,,,,, most go for that 15 sec area or so. Thunder by AC/DC I thought. But theirs some pop ones with break areas id pull to. The Rocky 4, when the synth starts after the orchestra like part in the first montage. Right as that synth starts, would be another? Not sure, would be a deep search for the right one.

Michael J

Oh God Minnesota broke my heart in '91. If Lonnie Smith could friggin see we would have won it that year. You all had the Thunderdome and we had the Chop Shop. God what a series.

William Bryan

Being that walk up songs are generally really short, my walk up song would have to be a Ramones song because they're so short I could probably fit half a song in, going with "Blitzkrieg Bop" or "Commando". Great reaction! Cassie is my favorite reactor when it comes especially to sports movies and chick flicks (she got me into Dirty Dancing lol).

Joe D. MacGuffinstuff

Fun note. This season, the Cleveland Indians changed their name, and became known as the “Cleveland Guardians”. One of the “Guardians” they are named after is the very first shot of this, the ultimate Cleveland baseball movie.

Kevin C

I'll be rooting for Thomas Crown ('99) in the heist poll, Russo is great in that. I also love her in Get Shorty (as well as everything else about that movie).

Robin T

I'm going to watch this reaction later tonight, but if you're going to be interested in watching baseball, it's a historic time to be doing it. I was at tonight's SF Giants game, and it became the first time in Major League Baseball history that a woman was one of the coaches on the field. https://twitter.com/NBCSGiants/status/1514081986394087424?s=20 I'm so happy to see Giants coach Alyssa Nakken and Yankees minor league coach Rachel Balkovec (the first woman to manage any team in affiliated baseball) making waves like this. It's a tremendous time.

Kevin C

“Juuuust a bit outside”! 😀 Great reaction Cassie! That was really fun! It’s been a minute since I’ve seen Major League. Still holds up pretty well! I enjoy an underdog story as well. I’m glad you enjoyed it! In addition to playing Thor’s mother, Rene Russo also stars in the 1999 version of the Thomas Crown Affair alongside Pierce Brosnan(James Bond). It’s a Heist/Romance movie. I think you would enjoy it. Might be worth a watch. Looking forward to to you and Carly’s reaction to Legends of the Fall!

Robert da Spruce

Blue Crush! I forgot about that movie. Cassie would definitely get into it.

Johnny

I have to say, this one has a special place in my heart. My mom worked at a midwest VHS rental store known as Family Video and every now and then we'd get these "screener" copies ahead of them being available to the public, where they'd have "property of [movie studio]" scrolling at the top/bottom and some weird time counter in a corner of the screen. I probably watched this over 30 times when I was a kid. That said, if we're going to branch out from this movie... let's get some more Tom Berenger via Shoot To Kill and hell, if this was your first Charlie Sheen then we desperately need to get you onto Young Guns, which then gets you into Loaded Weapon 1 and Hot Shots and all that. Though those kinda need you to be up on Lethal Weapon and the Rambo series respectively. Wouldn't mind those either.

tiny baby kitty man

It was fun to watching this again and with your reaction top it off, Thanks. going to throw two sports movies at you. 1st is Brian Song, base real-life story & Blue Crush, story of a girl surfer trying all her best against the odds.

JarHead0351

My walk-up song? "Kyrie" by Mr. Mister! I adore this film and I knew you'd love it! It came out the Minnesota Twins won the World Series for the first time in 1987, and this really grabbed the feeling in Minneapolis - and the whole state! - during that run up. They had been there in 1965 and lost it in 7 games. They only won 85 games that year (barely half the 162 games in a season, the lowest ever for a Division winner), and then had to play the Detroit Tigers for the American League Pennant to make it into the World Series. The Tigers were odds-on favorites to win the World Series that year, but the Twins beat them 4 games to 1 in a best-of-seven series! The 5th game was at Detroit and when the team returned home they were told "a few fans" were waiting at the Metrodome to welcome them home, so the bus was going to go there from the airport. They didn't know a capacity crowd was waiting late into the evening to welcome home their heros. That stadium was so loud when full of screaming fans they brought in a decibel meter and it was louder than a 747 taking off. By the end of the series the screaming fans had broken the decibel meter!! The called it, the THUNDERDOME! lol https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YWToH1xagW8 The Twins went on to win the World Series in 7 games (the first team to win every home game, a feat that they repeated 5 years later in 1991), and became the first professional team from Minnesota to win a Championship. For 10 years if you wanted to strike up a friendly conversation in Minnesota with a bunch of strangers, all you had to do was mention the Twins. You're absolutely right. Guys who like baseball, REALLY like baseball, because for nearly 120 years it has united this nation. Terrance Mann's speech about baseball in "Field of Dreams" is right on point. I taught my wife and daughter how to appreciate baseball - my son didn't need help! - and we'd love to have you all come down to Minnesota and catch a game with us at Target Field!

Sean Novack

I'd go with Rock n Roll Fantasy by Bad Company. Good, but not great movie. It was fun

Shoester

"Indestructible" by Disturbed.

Brent Petty

Im glad you liked this movie. It's a guilty pleasure of movies from the 80s. I always will like the walk up of Charlie Sheen and hearing " Wild Thing".

David Freese

Great reaction Cassie!!! Wow!! I haven’t seen this movie in a long time and I forgot how much I loved it. I loved when Willie woke up and ran passed the players in his pajamas. I loved when Ricky came out to Wild Thing. I loved it when Willie stole those bases… I loved… well I might have to watch it again. Cassie, the guy who played Dorn, Corbin Bernsen, has been in movies and TV shows for years. You might recognize him from guest appearances on Criminal Minds etc. He was on a popular show in the 90’s called LA Law. My walk on song would definitely be Queen but I can’t decide on one song from their catalog. Maybe We Will Rock You, Another One Bites The Dust, Don’t Stop Me Now… shoot most sporting events play Queen anyway 🤷🏻‍♀️

Tara

Enter Sandman is probably the best entrance music ever for a relief pitcher. As someone who doesn't root for the Yankees, I can definitely appreciate Mariano Rivera's careers. I feel privileged to have lived in New York from 97 to 07 and witnesses in person so many of his games.

Jason Dolan

My walk up song would definitely be Smells Like Teen Spirit

Jason Dolan

So funny, the way the Indians are treated by ownership in this movie almost makes me feel like this is why they did go on strike in 1994. I am loving experiencing this movie with you, Cassie. This is the movie that not only taught me how the game of baseball worked, it also laid the foundation for my eventual hatred of the Yankees, lol. The Yankees were always the bad guys for me because of this movie.

Jason Dolan

Also one more thing to say…. Cassie! You seem to love the idea of baseball. The atmosphere in the stadium, the food, the singing etc… but said you’re not interested in the actual game… I think if you did make an attempt to follow and understand the game, you would become a diehard baseball fan! You’re already halfway there!…. It really is a lot of fun. It is America’s past time after all!

Jeff Milcheck

The Natural was good… But a little too sentimental for my taste.

Jeff Milcheck

It’s funny you say that because The Natural was also in this baseball poll and this film is basically the comedy version of that film highly recommend you watch that film as well.

Night King01

Also, there was alternate ending where Rachel (the owner) explained she planned this all along and actually wanted them to win. That was her way of motivating them…. It was played in front of test audiences and did not go over well.. it’s really awkward. And doesn’t make any sense! But, they actually intended to end the film with this….. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5td3yRTgkrI

Jeff Milcheck

Just finished watching this reaction. That was a fun time! Haven’t watched since I was a kid so it’s been a good 20 years. Still holds up!…… I think it’s worth noting, that of all the actors that have ever played baseball players, actual major league players have sited Charlie Sheens performance as the most accurate portrayal of a baseball player on screen…. Makes sense. He played some college ball.

Jeff Milcheck

Great reaction to one of the all-time classics. There is something endearing about overcoming all odds in sports, but more in baseball than any other setting. It's just a little more believable for baseball. Also, this is the prototype for all ill-tempered wives inheriting a sports franchises seeking to ruin them. (think Rebecca owning Richmond) And Tom Beringer and Rene Russo were Kevin Costner's Billy Chappel and Kelly Preston's Jane Aubry before Billy and Jane. (FTLOTG) or Kevin Costner and Susan Sarandan before Crash and Annie. (BD) For me though, I simply love Mr. Baseball - Bob Ucher as Harry! Major League is such a fun movie and this was such an enjoyable reaction! - Thanks! - - - BTW, there were some mentions of other basesall movies that would be Cassie's favoriete... there really won't be any question about that at all... Cassie WILL LOVE 'For The Love Of The Game' - aurguably Koster's most romantic role in the most engaging sports story about a player's relationship - HANDS DOWN it's a runaway winner for her.

Terry Yelmene

The original ending had the owner reveling that she did all that to motivate them, not move the team. It scored horribly with test audiences because she was so good at being bad they let her be the villain to the end.

Keith Jones

I had forgotten how much I enjoyed this movie! No, it’s not better than The Replacements, but on reflection: 1) We don’t find out if they will keep the team in Cleveland or what happens to the players themselves (although there is a Major League II), and … 2) The romance would have been a little sweeter, a little more believable, if the writers didn’t make Taylor (Tom Berenger) such a dirtbag in his past with Lynn (Rene Russo).

Ike

This movie is so good lol. Glad you're getting to see this one.

KTVindicare

I know, as with the rest of Braves country, know exactly how those fans feel. God I remember it vividly. My dad picked my nine year old self up in the air. Oct 1992 "Swung, line drive left field! One run is in! Here comes Bream! Here’s the throw to the plate! He is…safe! Braves win! Braves win! Braves win! Braves win! Braves WIN!!!" "They may have to hospitalize Sid Bream. He's down at the bottom of a huge pile at the plate. They help him to his feet . Frank Cabrera got the game winner. The Atlanta Braves are National League champions again. This crowd has gone berzerk. Listen" "Meanwhile Barry Bonds is just now walking off the field. Andy Van Slyke is sitting on his glove in centerfield in shock. The Braves came from two runs down in the ninth and with two outs Francisco Cabrera got the hit that won Atlanta the game, a two run single to left. what a ball game."

William Bryan

Willy Nilly? Haha. This was Rene Russo's first movie role. She frequently played romantic roles in the 1990s, mostly in action movies. More recently she played Thor's mother in the MCU. If you keep this channel going long enough you'll see a lot more of her. I hada lousy day at work, Cassie. Thanks for making it a totally great night!

Alan Kobb

Someone please correct me if I’m wrong but I’m shocked precious Cassie didn’t compare this team owner to the team owner from the first season of Ted Lasso.

Lamar Smith

Charlie Sheen and Tom Berenger played in the movie Platoon

zynjams

It’s pretty difficult to beat the classic lines from this movie: “Haywood’s a convicted felon, isn’t he?” “Uh, it doesn’t say!” “Well, he ought to be!”

Lamar Smith

Now do BASEketball

Godzilla Jones

I played baseball since I was 12 till my 20's and loved it. So watching this movie brings back alot of memories from playing but also my father who also played and watching him play. One of my memories was when he played with a team of his friends who were all Native Americans and wore the logo of the mascot. So seeing those old uniforms brought me back. Plus my dad and I would always quote the play by play announcer. BTW my walk on music would be Iron Maidens "Run to the Hills"

Prophet2272

Hey Cassie, so I played Baseball for 15 years of my life, for some clarification, the signals they were giving are real signals. Used very commonly in baseball, its a way to tell the players what to do on the field without using your voice to give away your plan of attack. Jake has bad knees because being a catcher for so long can have that affect. I played catcher and if you dont regularly stretch you can develop bad joint pain in the knees. I love that position with all my heart though. Love this reaction. Cassie. Stay awesome xD

LightsCameraJake

Thunderstruck by AC/DC or Final Countdown from Europe.

David Freese

If I was the closer I would want "Money" by Pink Floyd https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-0kcet4aPpQ

Keith Jones

Great movie! I almost forgot about it, but you're right - Cassie would really like it.

Johnny

'Thunderstruck....by AC/DC

Darren Hill

I really love that the first thing you see in this film is one of the Cleveland Guardians.

djKENTO

Sadly she’s already seen it.

djKENTO

Another great version of this type 9f sports movie is the TV show Ted Lasso about an American football Coach who becomes a Soccer coach in the UK. You should react to it.

SilentBobFather

I'm guessing either Wannabe by The Spice Girls or Everybody by The Backstreet Boys.

Mike Lemon

I was vetoed from choosing Bootylicious by my family and friends

Shawn Kildal

The real question is what would Cassie's walk up song be?

Shawn Kildal

Willie Mays Hayes (Wesley Snipes) was Blade, the movie considered by many to be the start of the MCU and modern superhero movies in general.

Mike Lemon

My "get pumped" song is Ultra by KMFDM. I hear that and the heart beats faster and the adrenaline starts pumping.

Mike Lemon

Speaking of Rene Russo - you REALLY need to get to "Tin cup" one of these days... Sports, romance, comedy - plus Kevin Costner and Rene Russo. Right up the Cassie alley!

Tostos

Cassie, regarding walk up music.. it's true in some cases, I dont know if everybody has one. But even in high school, they let us have some fun. I always used Led Zeppelin's Kashmir. My cousin, who is younger, and was a better ball player honestly -..he played on a team where everyone pretty much used some kind of metal. He..being a total goofball..used Fergalicious. Killed me everytime he went to bat. laughing just thinking about it.

TK Kennon

John Smoltz, Greg Maddux, Dave Justice. Bunch of great players remember those days too

Steven Ashford

Such a fun reaction! The spring training parts were my favorite 😂 My walk on song would be “Crazy Train” by Ozzy Osbourne. Exact same walk on song as my favorite player Chipper Jones. I remember going to Turner Field as a kid and watching Chipper walk up to that song. Got to see him hit a home run and the stadium immediately started the tomahawk chop! Great memories!

Josh Phillips

My walk in song would be "Ready to Die" by Andrew W.K.

SplinterTME

And also stars Tom Berenger (Jake Taylor)!

Christian Yoder

That was a fun reaction. Just to clarify, a walk to bat song is just a few seconds of a song while the batter is walking to the batter’s box at home plate. The music that’s played when a closer (the best reliever / pitcher) comes in from the bullpen to try to ‘close’ (end) the game is just the reliever’s song and you usually hear most of the song, depending on the game situation. Always a blast hearing your commentary on some of my favorite movies.

Andrew Hogan

Trevor Hoffman (a star closing pitcher for years) used Hell's Bells by AC/DC when he walked out to the pitcher's mound. It was classic, and always got a roar from the home crowd.

Raj K. Dixit

Harris the old Christian pitcher I know him best from Hoosiers and Rudy. In real life he would typically be a reliever. Vaughn a starter wouldn’t usually come in as a reliever they would have a dedicated closer.

Sean Stuart

Looking forward to this on YouTube! My walkup music would be "Yeah!" by Usher/Ludacris/Lil' John.

Raj K. Dixit

If I was a hitter, my walk-up song would be "Seven Seas Of Rhye" by Queen. If I was a reliever, my walk-out would be from "Mars, The Bringer Of War" by Gustav Holst's "The Planets". There's a moment a little over 4 minutes in where the main theme comes roaring back after a soft interlude that is just EPIC.

Patrick Egan

I think for the Love of Game would go down as her favorite baseball movie. She’ll like Bull Durham don’t know about the Natural

Sean Stuart

For Charlie Sheen - "Platoon" is a must watch, his breakout role, Oscar's Best Picture winner in 1986

alex

I’ve been inspired to go back and re-watch game seven of the 2016 World Series. Man what a game!

Steven Ashford

A bit dramatic for an entrance song but I would have to go with "O Fortuna" by Hidden Citizens

Yaisu

Charly Sheen is for any woman whom ever loved a bad boy! Lol..for myself the walk from the bull pen to the mound would be to the tune of "Smoke on the Water" by Deep Purple,🎸🎶🎵🎼🎤

Celeste McAllister

Cassie! You mentioned during the coaches giving signs that, "That can't be real!" But it is, maybe not those exact signs... But it is how the players and staff communicate on the field without the other team knowing what the play is. They probably look goofy, but it's real. The standard system is to either give a bunch of signs, but only the third one is correct... Or only the sign after... Like the second touch of the cap, or whatever. It's complicated on purpose. Anyway, Jake told the coach (manager) he wanted to bunt, then the coach told the 3rd base coach a bunt was coming, then he told Willie "nilly" Hayes the bunt was coming. Also, after you learn who billy the kid, and Wyatt Earp is... You'll have to learn who Willie Mays is... #luvyameanit

Jon Johns

Liked the movie, LOVED the reaction! Thank You!! Oh, because I'm such a goofball, my song would be "High Hopes." (He's got high hopes, he's got high hopes. He's got, high apple pie in the sky hopes...)

Craig Russell

Jungle Rythm (African Drums, Jungle Book Two)

Grinznmore

You get it!!

Steven Ashford

My walk up to bat song is "Can't You Hear Me Knocking" by The Rolling Stones. As a relief pitcher my walk out song is "Walk" by Pantera. Well, maybe a song called Walk isn't so good for a pitcher... ok then, I'll use "Made Up Mind" by Tedeschi Trucks Band. Love the reaction, Cassie, and I love baseball! Baseball... Baseball... that gives me an idea....

Dave

I would have to go with Immigrant Song by Led Zeppelin. However growing up a big Braves fan and seeing Chipper Jones come to plate hundreds of times, I've gotta say I've imagined coming to the plate to his song countless times - Crazy Train by Ozzy Osbourne.

Dave Hill

One does not just like Baseball. One has a relationship with Baseball. Its your constant friend. Its there every day. It gives you joys and sorrows, but neither are too high or too low because there's always tomorrow. Then suddenly its late October and its not there anymore and you realize you have to face the long dark winter alone. But soon March comes and you know somewhere warm Baseball is getting ready to come back to you!

Christian Yoder

Bad to the Bone by George Thorogood and The Destroyers would be my walk up song. Major League is one of my favorite comedies. Glad you enjoyed it Cassie.

Robin Craft

My at bat walk-up song: Ramble Tamble by CCR. My walk-out song if I was a closer: The Game by Motorhead. Of course, if I was closing for my Pirates, I might not get a save opportunity all year! 😢

Christian Yoder

I’m thinking “The Kid is Hot Tonite” by Loverboy. Can’t wait to watch your reaction, it’s been too long since I’ve watched this movie.

Cole Jennett

One of my favorite pastimes! Living in Houston, I once took a vacation to St Louis to watch the Cardinals play the Philadelphia Phillies in a three-game series. I flew First Class to and from St Louis, stayed in a hotel within walking distance (like three blocks) of the stadium, got high-dollar, all-inclusive seats (behind home plate, three rows up, free food and drink). Best vacation I've ever taken. I love the game. What other sport has 4 songs so inherently tied to the game? Songs about the sport. Not about a specific sports team. "Take Me Out To The Ballgame", "Centerfield", "The Greatest", and "The Cheap Seats".

Miles E Coburn

Wow where to start? First of all yes major league baseball games play 162 games per season. Second the signs from the dugout to the third base coach are real and each team makes up their own signs. Third you’re correct those that love Baseball really love Baseball. I am one of those people. I ate, breathed and slept baseball when I was a kid. My wife and eyes favorite date night was often watching a baseball game. One of my best memories is watching the Cubs win the World Series with my younger child in 2016. No I do not like Watching movies about baseball more than I like watching baseball. I’ll pretend you didn’t say that. I have few pet peeves but for the love of all that is Holy please pay attention to the game when you were at the park unless you’re somewhere where you can’t get hit by foul ball. More than one person has been sent to the hospital with stitches concussions or in extreme cases permanent brain damage from getting hit by foul balls. I don’t want my favorite movie reactor getting taken out by Baseball. I’ve never really thought about a song but if I had a pick one Danger Zone would be mine.

Steven Ashford

Nice! Wasn’t expecting your reaction to this one so soon Cassie. A pleasant surprise to wake up to though! I’m looking forward to watching this one tonight! As far as walk in music, I’m gonna go with “Let Me Clear My Throat” by DJ Kool. That song always gets my hyped!

Robert da Spruce

My walk up song would be Extraordinary Machine by Fiona Apple.

Art of Free Speech

My walk up song would be Sad But True by Metallica because Enter Sandman is taken forever by Mariano Rivera

Choof

haha no way?! love that!

Cassie

I love it when someone uses the Imperial March (Darth Vaders theme) as their walk up song

Shawn Kildal

With 97 mph fast balls coming my way, my walk up song would be "All I need is a Miracle" by Mike & the Mechanics

Shawn Kildal

She would probably know him best as President David Palmer from the TV show 24

Shawn Kildal

Not sure if you noticed but the big, voodoo guy is Dennis Haysbert (sp?). He mainly sells insurance on TV for, I believe, Liberty Mutual with that big, silky, molasses voice of his.

Lamar Smith

My walk to bat song would definitely be “Jump Around” by House of Pain! :)

N M

My walk in song as a relief pitcher would be The Terminator theme or One Vision by Queen.

Mark M

Please no one say Enter Sandman. Lesnar and Mariano Rivera have already claimed that 🤣

William Bryan

You guys are bringing back so many memories with these songs

Steven Ashford

Good one! Now that song will be in my head all day. Buts that’s ok it rocks!!

Steven Ashford

Sabotage by the Beastie Boys

Krusty “Topher”

Yeah as much as I wanted her to watch Major League I think she'd like The Natural more.

William Bryan

I know that '95 WS was tough for you guys but it was a relief for us. ...Finally. That said it all for Atlanta

William Bryan

Let the bodies hit the flooooooooooooooorrrrrrrrrrrr. 🤘🤘

William Bryan

Walk up song would have to be either Master of Puppets or Don't Fear the Reaper

William Bryan

The only reason FL won the WS in '97 was because of Eric Gregg's insanely wide strike zone in game 5 of the NLCS. 🙄 dickhead lol

William Bryan

In 2016, LeBron James led the Cleveland Cavaliers to the NBA championship. It was the first championship for the city of Cleveland since the Browns won the NFL Championship in 1964. The Indians haven't won the World Series since 1954

Ken Langston

Walk up song: Rachel Platten - Fight Song or Keala Settle (& The Greatest Showman Ensemble) - This is Me And the guy you thought was a dad from something, Dorn, he was the dad in Psych if you ever watched any of those episodes :)

Planner

My song would probably be "Bodies" by Drowning Pool or maybe "Stop" by Against Me

Yann Laliberté

My walk up song would definitely be "Thunderstruck" by AC/DC.

Andrew Rose

Yes, I think she would enjoy White Men Can't Jump or Hoosiers.

Ken Langston

My song would probably be Iron Man by Black Sabbath

Sam Fuller

This is a fun movie, Charlie Sheen and Corbin Bernsen are great. ''The Natural" is a Baseball movie tailor made for you Cassie. It ticks all the boxes . Rarely will you see so many acting legends in one film.

Darren Hill

Another movie the Janitor from Scrubs was in lol!

Heartfelt

Not saying I know her. Yea this is a OK fun movie. And yea im from there so it was extra whatever. But if I was thinking her. Im not even sure The Natural (great Movie) or Bull Durham will be her thing. I think her thing would be "For the Love of the Game." Id bet on it. Just my guess of what shed enjoy, im not sure, just a hunch?

Michael J

when this movie was made in 1988, Miami didn't have a Major League Baseball team. Five years later they would get the expansion Florida Marlins. The Marlins have actually won two World Series titles in 1997 and 2003. This year the Cleveland Indians changed their name to the Cleveland Guardians. The name and logo weren't very politically correct. The baseball scenes were actually filmed in Milwaukee because Bob Uecker who plays the announcer for the Indians in this movie has been the longtime voice of the Milwaukee Brewers in real life.

Haven't watched your reaction yet, but "Wild Thing" isn't Charlie Sheen's "walk to bat song". It's played when he comes out of the bullpen to relief pitch. Will watch your reaction later on today. My walk up song? "Pick Up The Pieces" by the Average White Band (AWB).

It is baseball season.. But it's also the start of the NBA playoffs. Maybe a basketball movie during the finals?

Welcome to Cleveland. As a kid I saw tuns of games before moving to FL. Dad went to a World Series game vs Braves. But we had a few of these years too. Ok (not the grammar king in here, but from Cland) So yes true, we went threw a horrible stretch since the 60s! Those papers were real in the beginning. Thats the old Stadium, although some was filmed elsewhere. Not long after this movie, they built a new field, and things started to change. They even faced the Braves and Marlins a few times in the World Series. And with Albert Bell and Kenny Lofton and maybe the best lineup ever, should of won one. Not to long ago when the Cubs won the World Series it was vs Cleveland also. 7 games and extra inning's in the last game to decide it. So they have had "a bit oddly" a lot of strong years since after this movie was made. And yes 96 is pretty fast. What he throws latter is a rocket fastball. The number 1 sign by the catcher is usually fastball. And yes catchers learn the lineup and pick the pitch. Pitcher can shake it off and basically ask for another sign. And yes the manager is the coach in basic. And yes Cleveland is a crazy!!!!! Sports town! My whole family, no matter where we live now, bleed Cleveland teams. Plus we haven't had great luck even when good. The Drive, Red Right 98, the fumble, the Shot, the Mesa, the move, and a huge list of freak ways to loose key games. Despite are NBA title with Lebron, were still kind of hoping and waiting for the Browns and Indians to get one. Plus 50+ years with 3 major sports teams (160 seasons total) and 1 title between the 3 :/ If raised it, you know. And you just cant not still love the teams. Although we got a sticky situation with are new QB everyone is iffy about, me to?

Can't wait to watch this with you this weekend!
