2021-05-02 17:43:33 +0000 UTCDuring the first world war, there was the Christmas truce where both sides meet in no mans land and basically hung out, played soccer, sang Christmas corrals etc. So thought that scene where the two soldiers meet to help out Joey, was interesting cause it showed that, they're just people in the end.

Really jealous that my dad and sisters have seen the live stage show this is based on more than once, hopefully it'll have another run some time soon. I'll admit I'm going to miss this format, but I know it's ultimately not your call - copyright's a pain for all reactors. Anywho, happy May Day.
