New MidJourney version out -- Potential new covers for sequel of FoM
Added 2023-03-19 17:14:52 +0000 UTCSo, V5 of MidJourney is out, and it has some new good tricks, but it seems harder to generate some of the awesome pics of the past versions. However, I fed it my current FoM cover and these are some of the results. The first one may end up being the cover of the sequel book to FoM, provisionally titled "Sovereign Monstrosity". Granted, that's still a couple months out yet, even for you fine folks who get chapters early.
As I've mentioned prior, I'd love to get a commissioned cover, but thus far I haven't been able to get a hold of an artist. My hope is that I can get a commissioned piece before I eventually publish FoM as a complete work on Amazon.
If you guys know of any solid and reliable artists that do horror/eldritch themes, please let me know.
Btw: notice how even in V5 of MidJourney, it has a tendency to add text and watermarks to stuff. Kind of irritating, but usually I just crop an image to get rid of it ^-^'
