The Beholder's Mouth (launch)
Added 2019-09-20 13:55:40 +0000 UTCHello everyone! For this second map of September I wanted to do an experiment: to draw a place that had the appearance of a monster.
And not just any monster, but the famous and iconic Beholder!
- The trees are the 10 minor eyes of the beast.
- The lake represents the great central eye.
- The abyss is the ravenous mouth of the creature.
This map can be used as a simple and suggestive place for a classic encounter, or it could be the lair of a Beholder, with a very big ego, to the point of magically creating a place in his image and likeness.
For this map, in addition to DAYLIGHT and LINEART versions, I created two alternate versions: at SUNSET and at NIGHT (this one with soft magical light from trees)
