I totally get that you cannot keep in mind everyones triggers and I definitely don’t expect you to, but since eating disorders are pretty common, I thought it would maybe be important to share my view on this. But with your explanation (not that you owe anyone that by the way, although I do appreciate it), I already feel much better. I’m sorry to hear you also had an eating disorder and I’m happy you’ve recovered. Thank you so much again for the answer and also for all the wonderful videos and rest that you give all of us!

2024-07-28 16:18:22 +0000 UTCAs someone who had eating disorders for 7 years, I can definitely understand the struggle and triggers. I didn’t consider lumen in that light but can see what you mean. I try my best to be mindful and considerate of all my sponsors, making sure to only pick things I would genuinely be interested in or could potentially help someone - I suppose my healing with eating disorders had me look at this as a potential tool rather than be a trigger for someone. It can be overwhelming sometimes to feel so responsible for people’s triggers and mental state in that way. 🥲 It also makes me sad you couldn’t enjoy the rest of the video, I hope one day you can skip the sponsor and enjoy it. I also hope you are getting the help and support you deserve ♥️ Thank you for the feedback, I appreciate it and you.

2024-07-28 16:14:40 +0000 UTCThe whispers were very tingly, but it makes me sad that you took a sponsorship with a product that is so deeply intertwined with diet culture. As someone with an eating disorder, this is so triggering that I cannot enjoy the rest of the video. In the end, it is your own call who you take sponsorships from, but since ASMR is such a tool for relaxation and mental soothement, I think these kinds of sponsors are not really appropriate.
