I imagine this scene is something after they've known each other for a while. It's Coco's first fall season in this new town and she's not really used to the weather. But it's not as if she's gonna freeze her butt off. This just seemed like a good excuse to get close to her bestie. And her nice fluffy faux suede wooly coat.

You do domestic cuteness really well, and it feels like that’s the kind of scene to draw, similar to Rose and Colette (albeit accounting for the differing personalities). Take something relatively mundane/domestic (watching movies together) and maybe put a kinky spin on it (being nude under the blanket she invites blondie under).
