That Gunmetal Girl piece works pretty well and I think... if I had to analyze it right now I would say that's because I had a very specific thing I wanted to do. I wanted to make the fist look heavy. And then the rest of her body will follow through on that.
I'd say that actually works better than the random ninja esque sketches I was doing below. That's probably because those ninja things, I didn't really have an idea for them. I just wanted to draw some sexy figures and I kept adding or changing or adjusting and they're kinda just random in the end.
So I guess the lesson is... have clarity of purpose when drawing an action scene.
