Just felt like drawing more mechanic Suzie and wanted to draw her working on her favorite project. Colette is sorta a high maintenance friend. Girlfriend? I'm not sure how I'd want to take this story. It's fair to say, the ratio of gay women to not gay women in my comic ideas is pretty high. But I figure Colette's still pretttty gay even in Gunmetal world. Besides a lewd drawing I had done with Suzie and Colette (check the tags!) any serious thought on where to take the story usually casts Suzie as closer to ace if anything. But as this is a story that's sorta just playful and not really in development, that's subject to change.
What's kinda sticking is Colette needing some fixing up now and then. She's considerably more machine than other universe Colettes. Having a trusted mechanic by her side is more than a doctor. It's like a nurse and best friend rolled into one.
Process notes:
The coloring on this one was particularly fast. I must've spent under ten minutes laying down the colors. While it might've been good enough to "post" I think as a piece it's far under par for what I expect from a "psudonym drawing." I could do better. I think I should do more preplanning. More preparing. These days I just start a sketch and then go in on "completing it" before getting tired of working on it. I should try instead to make sure a drawing is gonna be cool in the earlier stages. And then develop a process that makes it easy to stop and start again whenever I want to.
