Afton’s parenting (mini comic #454)

I got to thinking about what would be the differences in William’s and Mrs Afton’s parenting,, I wanted to demonstrate in some way how Mrs Afton is with her kids, so of course Michael getting into a fight felt like a good scenario to base this around.

William is as cold as ever, letting Michael know, cause he’s the oldest, exactly how he feels about him getting in trouble. I could imagine Michael being a trouble maker is such a wrench in his perfect family scenario, and laying low. So he harshly criticizes him, in hopes it’ll make him stop.

Though his mother, she doesn’t want him to fight of course, but focuses more on actually taking care of him. Cleaning his face off, bandaging him up, knowing he was probably just trying to defend himself. She doesn’t feel the need to scold him, seeing she knows very well William would have done that already, and she’s trying to remedy that. I like to believe Michael takes away a lot from his mother, like his sense of humour, or his love of soap operas. He maybe his father but he’s equal parts his mother

I could sob and sniffle if I think too hard on Michael and his mother, but I’ll leave it here, and use any extra ideas I have for future comics. I know we don’t know much about Mrs Afton, but I still think she’s pretty interesting regardless. Mean marrying William Afton is such a predicament to be in, so I just wanna explore how she could have been. Anyway!! I hope you enjoy this comic 🩵💜!!
