Listen, I don’t think Mrs Afton is dead per say, I don’t even think she’s haunting Ballora, BUT I like Ballora being a symbol for Mrs Afton,,, I think that is very interesting
I’ve said it at length a bit, but William loves his wife in an odd way, way more that she’s an accessory to him. So when she leaves it kinda shows William the reality he may of actually loved her, and has to cope by other means, like in making Ballora. Love his wife for her beautiful dances, his perfect ballerina, the imagery of having Springtrap and Ballora together is such a striking one. A dead man who still holds onto the shell of his wife. It’s like a sculpture yearning for the statue they’ve made.
This was very fun ti draw out, just the pose and the outfits, and the lighting really came together. Of course Mrs Afton herself is the stand out, always fun to draw her, and especially getting to draw her in an outfit similar to balloras, a full ballerina look,, anyway I hope you enjoy this comic! 💜🩵
