Jumpscare reactions (mini comic #445)
Added 2024-12-20 18:00:13 +0000 UTCI truly love the difference between Gregory and Cassie. Just how they approach things differently when placed into semi similar situations. The main one being in how they react to the jumpscares themselves
Gregory almost just accepts his fate, he doesn’t fight back at all just gets picked up and attacked. Even with Vanessa he doesn’t throw any punches he jusr accepts his fate most of the time. While Cassie, when she gets got, GIRL is throwing punches and kicks, she’s grabbing at their faces and teeth, physically in anyway trying to push them back and I think that rocks.
I know fundamentally, ruin in general just has a lot more lil flares like that compared to security breach BUT I like taking this functionality and thinking of what it could mean characteristically to the both of them. Gives this impression Gregory knows when he’s been caught and doesn’t fight it, while Cassie will keep fighting even when caught. Maybe reflective in the idea that Gregory is already a known troublemaker so in a sense he knows his limits, while Cassie is less experienced and tries anything she can to get out of being caught. Again, this difference probably came about because of just tech limitations and new ideas, but it’s still food for thought.
Had fun drawing this out, honestly everyone in this even, Gregory whatever attitude, Roxy noming on his head, to Monty just getting his shit rocked by Cassie, super fun, so I hope you enjoy this comic too!! 🩵💜
