Added 2021-08-12 00:45:27 +0000 UTCFor those of you who enjoy the Yu-Gi-Oh GX story, Era of Spirits and Shadows, I wanted to ask your opinions as my Patrons.
Since Yu-Gi-Oh GX is a semi-active Fandom, though a small one as the FFNet archive has less than 10K stories in it, how many chapters should be backlogged before Chapter 1 goes up on FFNet and AO3?
2 Chapters? 3 Chapters?
Having looked through the GX Archive, I have to say...it has a lot of less than stellar stories.
Short, abandoned, not well written, a lot of OCs or SI's, that seems to be the most common stories in that section.
As you know, EoSS isn't heading in that direction. A single OC to bring about the change to the plot is the Premise of the story. Then seeing how that spreads and continues to change things among the characters. Not replacing Jaden in the least, like quite a few seem to do, but giving him a competent friend with some shared screen time.
But, as I enjoy hearing from my Patrons about things like this, what do you all think?

i am a little late but it was this story that make me want to be a patreon so i just want to say nice story and i hope to se more and to late but 2 or 3

2021-09-18 00:07:24 +0000 UTCI agree that 2 would be a good testing number and once people start becoming more interested add a 3rd see how it takes and if it’s a hit maybe go from there and update it like you have in the past with leonthrope and artificer. Just a thought

I'm not sure where the story taking place in your writing schedule but considering the larger amount of stories currently you have written I feel like it'd be better to just wait until chapter 3 to post chapter 1 on fanfiction that way people don't have to wait a rather long time
