**Another new artist joining the Patreon!**

We heard from Nastywolf613 and she absolutely adores our otters and loves "The Depths" webcomic. And she wants to participate and do incredibly art for us, like she has in the past:

So, we put our heads together to think what she could do, since we have pin-ups and underwater scenes already covered.

Then we realized that we don't really have much in the way of writing/story-telling on here, like the above could illustrate. Leilani is obviously mad at Kalea about something! *^^*

So Leilani is going to write some short-story snippets - around 100-200 words - and describe a detailed scene, such as the following:

"Leilani knelt on the ocean floor, lifting her head briefly to let out a quick burst of bubbles through her mouth, easing her lungs. She wasn't used to great depths like this. nor could she afford to stay down too long, especially not with the dangerous creatures she knew pervaded here. She fanned her arms briefly as she looked around her surroundings, then swam towards the glint of light she had seen from several feet below by the reef. 

As she approached, she paused as a large nude shark-man, his tail thrashing, suddenly moved away from a clump of kelp brush, and the sea otter quickly dove down behind a group of coral to hide. She watched, holding her breath tightly, as the shark-man swam close by her, pausing to inspect that which had attracted the girl earlier - a silver pendant with a gold chain attached. Apparently uninterested, the shark-man tossed the pendant aside and swam on its way. 

Leilani crept out from behind the coral and in one motion scooped up the pendant and quickly pushed off the bottom to head back up. But her movement had attracted unwanted attention, and she felt a tug on her leg and looked down to see another shark-man grinning up at her before yanking the sea otter down into his arms in a flurry of bubbles..."

What people will be able to do then is VOTE on what part of the story could be drawn! 

Could it be Leilani holding her head up kneeling on the bottom, and blowing a few bubbles out, eye closed? Could it be the moment she's hiding behind a coral as the shark-man swims past? Or could it be the moment he grabs her foot, or has her trapped in his arms and struggling to get loose?

It's up to you! ♥♥♥

So, we're really excited as this will bring a bold new voting idea to "The Depths" Patreon, and even more participation for everyone, and more importantly more exclusive first-peek art! We will open up this voting option to more voters too, so those with "Swimmer" levels and above are eligible. (Floaters can still see the art, so you won't be left out.)

Also, follow this lovely lady artist, she's quite talented! (and part of our agreement stems from her getting a larger following and more commissions. So the more she gets, the longer she will stay on.) *^^*
