Panel 1:
[The two lovers lie naked in the surf, Leilani laying atop of him and smiling, caressing his cheek, as David touches her breast and smiles back.]
DAVID: Leilani? I know I asked before but…I-I’m asking again. Please marry me.
LEILANI: Why?
DAVID: Because I love you. And I can’t see me with anyone else. Not ever.
Panel 2:
[Leilani sits up and David curls up next to her.]
LEILANI: <My heart belongs to you.>
DAVID: What?
LEILANI: I…I said that I love you too.
DAVID: You have such a beautiful language. I fell in love with your people, your culture, your…well, everything.
Panel 3:
[Closer to Leilani’s face, showing how beautiful she really is, her green eyes sparkling like jewels, her dark wet hair draping her face like a wedding veil already.]
LEILANI: Stay here…with me?
Panel 4:
[Back to a medium image of David holds Leilani’s paws and nuzzles her cheek. She still seems unsure.]
DAVID: You know I can’t do that as much as I really want to. That’s why you have to come-
LEILANI: Y-Yes.
Panel 5:
[David looks into her eyes, still holding her paws. Leilani is smiling sheepishly.]
DAVID: You mean, yes, you’ll marry me…?
LEILANI: I will marry you…
Panel 6:
[David pushes Leilani down into the sand and kisses her passionately, as she wraps her legs around him.]
