Yes an hour long yoga session is ideal, but sometimes it's hard to get yourself to start when you think about it that way. So when I feel that way I decide to do a 5 minute session instead! It usually ends up turning into a longer session which is good to get your body stretched and heart pumping even if it's just for 10 or 15 minutes instead of an hour! Here are some examples of my standard stretches I always start with.
