But who determines where art ends and tagging begins though? So much art is just a literal streak across a page, or a word on canvas...they hang that stuff in museums so like...the difference is really blurry. What's not blurry is that it's a crime. Furthermore, you can't MAKE people connect with you solely on your terms and based on what you like, even if they're your parents. You have to find stuff that you can all tolerate or like, not force each other to like a specific thing. I get her desire for connection, and I'm not saying she's wrong for that, I'm just saying like...she's not all the way right either lol

They understand she likes doing it, and she's good at it, and they get her supplies, but that's the limit to their understanding of art. Like yes people obviously don't like their stuff being painted on without permission, but it's more of the fact that they don't see the difference between a tag and an art piece which makes her upset. Personally, if I came home and saw something similar to Bay's piece on the wall of my house, I wouldn't be bothered by it. If I saw some random word or name though, I'd be so mad. I think she just wants that connection with them that she has with Regina because they did raise her and are her parents after all.

2025-03-02 03:27:33 +0000 UTCi get Bay’s feelings but i think she’s also a bit delusional on thinking John would be happy about it. that’s certainly the sheltered teenager in her. the song choice with Katherine and Toby was awful, like they couldn’t have just sang “This Little Light of Mine” lol i was much more interested in the Daphne and Angelo and Angelo and Regina interactions this episode.
