"The leaf that saved the world" is just too poetic β€οΈ

2024-05-13 02:37:24 +0000 UTCThanks Travis. It's a lovely feeling when someone loves an episode as much as you do. Especially when you had the turn around feeling on the leaf, expressed at just the right moment. Quite charming. This one is kinda, pause over the play button, in the reaction cycle for me. Ever since one reactor likened it to a writers self-pleasure fantasy. Overly self-indulgent and really wasn't here for any message or story that it was trying to tell. I mean, there's not caring for an episode, but they absolutely hated it. Ordinarily that's ok. But this is in part about grief at the lost potential of life of a loved one. I was 15 when I loss my father and I often think about the lost memories I'll never have with him. So at that time, although many many many years after, believing that this a lovely story. I wasn't ready to hear their poorly chosen words. I'm thrilled that this one spoke to you in a far more positive way.

2024-05-05 00:51:35 +0000 UTCYou nailed it on the head, this episode is full of heart! A bank holiday is just a national holiday (like a federal holiday). Most of them fall on Monday's hence Bank Holiday Monday. I definitely enjoyed getting some insight into Clara's past. Little easter egg in this episode, the data Clara's mum died is the same day that S01xE01 "Rose" is set, so it's entirely possible Clara's mum was killed by a shop mannequin/auton.
