Monster Girl Madness

Hey, so I have a rather big announcement to make!

Ten other authors and I have collaborated to release a story each, based around "Monster Girl Evolution". The reason? Well, for fun, primarily.

What started as a teasing joke with another author who couldn't think up a name for his next story to just copy Bedivere's titles with "XYZ Girl Evolution" somehow blew up into a sort of event.

Our goal is mainly based around: "Wouldn't it be hilarious if the front page of Rising Stars was nothing but monster girls," but honestly, some of the stories written are great and have long surpassed just a simple joke. I really hope everyone will give them a chance.

In no particular order, we have: cat, magpie, fox, zombie, succulent(plant), horse, phoenix, cow, dog, and demon.

Naturally, as a fellow author who often writes about non-human characters, I felt obligated to take part, and so I threw my own hat into the ring with a fish!

Now, to get some hypothetical questions out of the way:

Why isn't Fish Girl on Patreon?

I already have two ongoing series with "financial commitments," if that makes sense? I can't afford to add a third without sacrificing dedicated time to my others, and that is the last thing I want to do.

I also don't have enough advanced chapters for Patreon to make it worthwhile, in my opinion.

Will this affect Syl or Bookbound Bunny?

No. Hence why Fish Girl is not being put up on Patreon.

What if Fish Girl blows up?

Still no. If people love it, then when either Syl or Bunny eventually ends, I'll slot it in on Patreon after writing some advanced chapters.

Okay, what will the schedule be like?

Honestly, this is a tough one. I'd love to say "minimum 1 chapter a week" or something like that, but I don't want to make that hard commitment in stone, as it will potentially affect my other obligations.

This is ultimately a series I did for fun, to support some fellow authors and build up some hype around non-human characters.

The schedule will be mostly "when I can," which will vary. I've strictly only ever written any chapters for Fish Girl when my Syl or Bunny chapter is already complete, and I still want to write a bit more.

Why didn't you do Cultivating Slime instead?

I still really want to do a slime cultivation story, although whether that will be as Syl or a new slime, I'm still undecided. 

Either way, it won't be in the cards until the main Syl story ends. I like some variety to keep my mind fresh, and having two ongoing slime stories would dilute that.

If this works out nicely, I might experiment with other ideas I have bouncing around in a more casual capacity. Who knows?
