Once a young Arabian woman and part of a sultan’s harem, she was promised her heart’s deepest wish: to rule a kingdom of her own. However, a jealous wife of the sultan cast her out of the palace. Desiree eventually died old and heartbroken. Though she wasn't evil at first, the envy and resentment she developed after witnessing the happiness of those she once served twisted her spirit. Over time, she became determined to turn every wish against the one who made it.
