Hi, all. When I started this account I saw it primarily as a way to raise money for chemistry experiments I was doing with Jason Wallach. I was not seriously interested in starting a podcast as I've always been focused on the documentary series and various writing projects, but I've been encouraged by the influx of new subscribers and support for the last two episodes and I've now started scheduling and recoding many more, with an initial goal of a minimum of two new podcasts exclusively on Patreon each month.

I'm also planning on doing a monthly "journal club" with my friend Jason Wallach where we present and analyze a new (or old) scientific article.

Before the end of this month I plan to release an extended interview with the DEA chemist Terry Dal Cason and possibly another interview that I recorded with a comedian named Adam Strauss. Next month I'm interviewing the author of a fascinating new article on the chemistry of the blue pigment found in psilocybin-containing mushrooms.

I'm learning how to do this and if any patrons would be interested in helping me clean up the audio on some of these recordings I'd love to collaborate.

At the moment, I have about five interviews I'm editing and getting ready for future release so I plan to keep this up for the foreseeable future.
