Anyway, I'm putting together a digital painting process video with notes for this - trying to at least. I have to focus all of my attentions on comic stuff for now. I'll get back to this, but I figured I could at least share the static image in the meantime.

I've done a number of pet portraits for people, but I'm usually asked to do realistic-ish likenesses as opposed to goofy caricatures. It ends up being my own cats who suffer this sort of indignity. =)

It is always adorable when a cat is having a 'distinguished gent' moment only to be startled by something and give such a dumbfounded or horrified expression/reaction. Kills me every time~! That aside though, the way you captured your cat's expressiveness and likeness has me wondering if you've ever done commissions for cat owners of their cats before, or ever thought about it? I'm not attempting to push and see if you're available for it, I'm just generally curious~ :>
