I like the idea of these reliefs, I just wanted to add that I think it would be cool to do a layer pause right when the pattern and outlines start, if this is printed with the pattern on the xy axis, then you can have the pattern be a different color than the base. I think it's generally harder to print this sort of thing on xy rather than having the pattern print vertically though.
