He has said that it reignited his passion in food, and the dishes made are very accurate. He now has converted his channel into making anime food. The manga artist hired a professional chef to oversee the food content. It is a great show, if you love food. It made me hungry every episode, and it urged me to try being creative with food. The main concern among people here is that "foodgasms" are very prevalent in the series. However, it does not take away from the actual accuracy and delicious portrayal of the food. I say give it a try. My second place would be assassination classroom. It's a great, fun show. Side note: Food wars dub is subpar IMHO
