Basically Raye knew his boss's face and name so when he wrote his name, the boss was now affected by what light previously wrote in the book. Which led to the domino effect of sending the email of all the FBI agents in Japan to which Raye wrote down the names of them thus rendering them to the same fate.

2025-06-17 10:15:36 +0000 UTCIt's just artistic choice from the creators of the anime version, the original manga is only in black and white so there's no such thing as different hair colors outside the covers of the books. I assume that they just have contrasting colors to highlight two people going against each other, but in the terms of the actual show the hair color means nothing I wouldn't recommend looking too much into it, since this show is more about the actions and personalities of the characters and less visual storytelling (if not counting in character reactions)

But the fact that Raye was about to drop investigation on Light was only inside his own head and not information that anyone else knew.

2025-04-25 18:11:07 +0000 UTCcool episode im wondering if the blue eyes and hair are connected in any way with aanyone looking into the case of killer and the closer they get to solving or finding a big connection they get a blue tint of hair and eyes almost like they are seeing things clearly. and the closer any one gets then light gets anxious about being found out so that might feed the darker side of him and thats why we see the red hair
