BTW one of my favourite Animes is Bungo Stray Dogs, it has something to do with people having super powers and detectives as well as mafia ;) a lot psychological stuff to unpack!

Since you can't please everybody, do what feels most comfortable for you anyway. As long there are subtitles too, I am good. It helps me since I am no native speaker

I think it's case by case, I dub shows where the voice acting is strong but sometimes the VA for dubs is just awful and sub is a way better experience. Dub one punch man for instance loses about 80 percent of the experience, My hero academy dub is very good on the other hand.

2025-03-25 23:18:59 +0000 UTCI'm on edge. Its probably because of having to turn off hardware acceleration in order to actually record the screen due to HDCP compliance. It probably also doesnt help that deathnote is nearly 20 years old.

2025-03-25 21:41:10 +0000 UTCIve got the full package. Its intentional (and stated) that its only 720p on browsers. Its by design to stop exactly what Im trying to do - screen record in high resolution. But because of people like me everyone has to suffer. Sorry.

2025-03-25 21:37:15 +0000 UTCthe 720p resolution part might have to do with your netflix subscription, as far as i know the basic netflix subscription option only offers up to hd (720p) max and you have to pay a bit extra to get the 1080p version which is the standard subscription , and the premium one offers 4k + hdr resolution, spacial audio etc. Hope this helps!

Preferably with a set schedule, as I think letting people know how much content they get makes them more likely to stick around, but you’re a busy man so it’s understandable if that’s unsustainable. I highly recommend it, the main 3 characters are all so interesting in such different ways it really get your brain thinking, I think you'd have a lot to say about it all. The first episode is a little slow but its necessary when you look back at it.
