Arcane Episode 1 Full Edit

Going to edit it down massively for YouTube but here is pretty much the raw video (apart from editing the intro at the beginning where I repeated myself various times).

Now that you've seen episode 3, i am able to come back and comment on this without spoilers: You mentionned the 3 ways PTSD or trauma can manifest: - Hyper Vigilance, - Avoidance - Intrusive memories/flashbacks. And i just wanted to mention now that these are respectively portrayed in Vi (Hyper Vigilance), Vander (Avoidance), and Powder (Intrusive Memories/ dependency on validation meets intrusive thoughts making her feel never good enough)

I’m aiming to get them out pretty quick though. I don’t want to make a formal commitment as I’ll probably end up not sticking to it and letting people down.

As someone who adores animation, amazing emotional writing, and a diverse cast of complex characters, this is the peak of them all imo. I’ve seen a few therapists comment on it already and they all love it too, so really excited to see you dive in and give your own perspective, especially in the reaction format 💜

Good idea would be listening to the most important songs of the show after u finish it and yours second thoughts about it I promise its gonna hit different so good work and keep on going cannot wait for more to come!

2024-12-12 18:15:20 +0000 UTCThanks Patrick. I’ve uploaded an edit to YT already that appears to be okay, although it’s taken a few days before any detection has happened. I actually had one picked up from over a year ago the other day! I’m actually quite surprised it made it through given how much I’ve left in. I might make it public tonight and if it gets hit so be it. The waiting game is a bit of a trap as I could be waiting forever and it knocks all subsequent videos out to being later as well. It’s also the first time I’ve done an edit like this so I might just put it up for the feedback on it.

2024-12-12 18:14:52 +0000 UTCA note on reaction channels, basically most small reaction channels preserve about 60% of an episode, larger ones cut it down lower than that usually due to bad experiences with certain companies, Arcane/Netflix seems to have a fairly relaxed approach so you can probably make cuts according to your own feelings and style + pitch shift any copyrighted music and you should be fine.
