Ekoh Pressure Reaction (Track 1 Pressure Album)

Bit of a rough edit here before I put it up on YouTube. Considering rewriting the lyrics out myself instead of screenshots so there are more legible. That is time consuming though - thoughts on how it currently looks compared with writing them out? Currently thinking about not rushing it, rewriting the lyrics, making it look prettier and then uploading. Will be good to get these up during his tour!

Exactly stu!! Just be you in a way that doesn't break your code of conduct and you'll see how much people actually crave authenticity and genuiness! There's enough held back manufactured and fake in this world. Why do you think people like ren and nf have the fan bases they do? They're authentic, genuine, and stay true to themselves. They're outside of the norm. You have so much to offer the reaction community! Are you going to be everyone's cup of tea? Probably not. And that's okay. Not everyone is going to like you or your content. Dont let that outweigh the massive amount of people that will! It's hard to see hateful comments and not let it get to you. So everytime you get one think about all the positive ones you also get! Also remember even big reactors like knox hill, cliff beats, black Pegasus, AR still get hateful moments and probably always will. So dont take it so personal and let it make you feel like you need to change yourself to fit the mold they want you to fit. Tell them to fuck off and go look for someone that does in the most professionally sarcastic way you can lol ❤️❤️

"stop stressing over if you should write the lyrics or have them typed" literally made me just spit out my tea laughing. You are right, when you take a step back and think what am I doing with my life when i care about putting up lyrics. I have loads of clients who would obsess over that, lots of perfectionist traits etc. and my response to them would be try doing something just 'good enough' put it out there and see what happens, maybe you'll learn that people dont actually give that much of a shit if something isnt perfect. I need to be told this now and then, otherwise I will spend so much time and energy on something that just isn't worth it. I'm going to start slowly introducing a bit more of my actual character I think. I'm generally quite chatty and random, i also tend to swear an awful lot in my daily life, and im pretty sarcastic (taken from years of police work, army work, nurse work and now therapist) the banter is strong in me! Just trying to balance that with being a therapist and having a professional code of conduct I have to abide by outside of professional work. You are right, I need to be more of my genuine self and then i know the people who stick around are there for the real me, and not held back manufactured me.

I like when you ramble because that is part of the reaction in my eyes! You offer a very unique insight when you react because of the field you work in and your knowledge and experience with mental health issues. That is why I watch your videos. I like your views and perspectives they help me understand topics I might not have understood otherwise. Yes ARs are shorter but what I get from ARs videos are more about the music itself. That's the insight he offers. How the beat was made, the bar breakdowns (for the hip hop), the rhyme schemes, and also to see if he relates to the songs in anyway. Me personally there's a specific and unique thing I get from each reactor that I subscribe to. It's what keeps me coming back to watch the next video. I've watched a lot of reactors. But I only sub to a certain few that have kept me engaged and have given me something I want from a reactor. Knox hill for his analysis on hip hop songs, AR for the reasons I've mentioned above, teegocrxzy for his ability to catch bars, the authenticity he brings, his loyalty to his community, his humor, and he's genuine. He doesn't react to the hype tracks that all the other reactors react to. He doesn't react to what's going to get him views. He reacts to the artists he likes and a lot of them are independent artists. He doesn't jump on the band wagon to get himself views. I've been with you since your first ren video. Hi ren. And I've stayed with you because you have such in depth views in the mental health field and you don't get that perspective too often. (Now I'm rambling lol) my point is stop stressing over if you should write the lyrics or have them typed. If you should stay true to yourself and ramble or if you should shorten them because some people don't like it. In my opinion FUCK THEM PEOPLE. You shouldn't try to change yourself just because some people don't like it. You're real fans like you for you. That's why they keep coming back. Stay loyal to those fans and be yourself stu! As long as you do that your channel will grow on its own

Its a great opening to the album. I know I have a tendency to ramble on a bit, but i also realise a lot of people quite like that. However, especially on YouTube, the sweet spot seems to be around 10 minutes otherwise people are put off. I've been checking out AR that you recommended recently (trying to avoid spoilers of tracks I may listen to) and he is far more 'reaction' based than me I think and his videos are mostly quite a bit shorter - I wonder if that is what people prefer. I did put a poll up on my YT recently asking if people liked the track / lyric analysis but i think about 80% said they just wanted to see the reaction. What are your thoughts on me shortening the videos?
