2025-01-14 15:57:00 +0000 UTCI tried it once to downregulate but it didn't worked for me. And even it didn't work I had times I thought of it pretty often. It almost felt like a beginning addiction. I am glad it didn't work for me because I know I would be addicted to it because of my adhd I tend to get addicted. Is it dopamine that is released after S.H.? My fiance was addicted to cutting. He did it everyday and often three times day. He did it so much that his body numbed out pain. He was able to do stuff like putting his hands on hot pots etc. Without feeling pain. And even when he didn't do it as regulary anymore (I think he is selfh. Free for a few years now!) at the beginning of our relationship he did It sometimes and still needed to relearn pain tolerance the other way around.
