Sleep: Another Sleepy Serenade
Added 2023-11-29 04:14:28 +0000 UTCI come out to find you lying on the couch. You can't sleep and you don't want to wake me up but you not being there with me has woken me up. You have to get up early and you need sleep. I try one of my boring stories but that doesn't work. I have an idea... it worked before and it worked again.

I don’t know if it’s weird to say this but.. every time I have difficulty sleeping I put your “boring” story (which actually is not) and it calmes me and I sleep within minutes 😍

I dare say that it would probably be more challenging to list my top SFWs than NSFWs. You’re so good at what you do. I think that you know that. But, I feel compelled to share my deep appreciation anyway. I have such a love for the way you weave nature sounds, tea ASMR, your comforting words & stories, and ABSOLUTELY your music into SFW magic. (Even the long fade out of breathing brings comfort.) it all swirls together and does magic things for my nervous system. The last year has been really cruel to me, and I know that I’m not alone there. And, well… I just thought that you should know what an incredible life line the SFW audios have been. Whether I was turning one on when I was driving to the emergency room, a funeral for a loved one, driving home after saying the final sad goodbye to my best friend & canine companion, or if thinking about all of those things kept me up at night… and all of the challenging moments in between… the SFWs were there. And I just wanted you to know that your creativity, passion, & dedication makes a huge difference. I’m so grateful. As ever & always… thank you, Hank. 💕

2024-01-16 03:10:19 +0000 UTCThank you for the full combo for sleep😴 It's funny that this came true because I once imagined that it wasn't a rain situation in the story, Hank puts on nature sounds or something with an app to help a girl to sleep...🎧 And I really realized that when I hear Hank's sleeping breath, it turns on the sleepy switch for me😂 I remember until the few seconds after Hank started to breathe... And when I listen to this again in the daytime, I begin to feel sleepy even after enough sleep😇 The sound of the rain is just perfect, the sound of the guitar is also perfect because there is no prominent (I don't know if this is the right word) sound of the guitar plucking the strings, and sleeping breaths are perfect!🤩It's a good fight with Cold Season, in my opinion😄 The story of the little shack was fun😍 It reminded me of pond smelt fishing, which I've never done but have always wanted to try😊 As with other Hank stories, when it comes to these types of stories, at least it's not time to go to bed yet for me. Because even if the world I've created in my brain isn't real, I can still see the world in a simulated way and it's fun! And Hank in this story was adorable and it was fun like watching a little movie😆

The addition of white noise rain was divine. I always sleep with white noise, my brain has a very hard time shutting off without it. And then you add in your guitar playing & I’m in heaven. 🥰🥰🥰 I listened to it for the first time in the car to make sure that I heard the whole thing through. 😅 But, I used it twice since then & sure enough, I was out like a light. And, that’s huge. Sometimes it’s really difficult for me to sleep, especially after a third shift. The rest of the world is up being noisy and it’s sunny… but this & my eye mask & I easily dozed off. Anytime I get to listen to you play is a treat. And, thank you for letting us know that it was Señorita who was your co-star. Perhaps I would have guessed as much if I had listened first. But, there’s A LOT of possibilities amongst your collection. 🤭 As ever & always… thank you, Hank. 💕

I think I was invested in the story too much. 😄 The playing was very beautiful and soothing though, and Señorita sounds perfect as always (and of course so don't you). Do you happen to have any pictures of the ice fishing "shacks" built over the years? I've never seen anyone ice fishing here because I don't think the temperature drops that far for the ice to be thick enough to hold the weight. I'm sure in years past it has because I remember plenty of snow and ice when I was younger. It would be interesting to see a photo of two (and you don't need to be in it - I'm just a curious soul). Thank you so much for the story and the serenade. Perhaps with my next listen it will put me to sleep since I know the outcome of the story. 😉♥️
