I think you're going to get the most out of the next/last set of WoRs vids. I've always felt they give the most information that isn't directly provided in the show. You're far along enough now in the show that the WoRs that you've watched so far have been more of a refresher rather than providing you with any new lore. Which is fine! A refresher is never a bad thing

it's good to have chill reactions. I do wish you had seen these closer to v3-4 which was about the time they were aired because they were designed with those events in mind, but it's still good you're seeing them now. but the next bunch should be more informative as they cover some things you haven't heard before. a few things to remember: Ozpin has been proven to be Not The Most Reliable Narrator, so some of the things being mentioned bear scrutiny with what you learn after v3. (example: the ideal of Huntsmen versus what Raven tells Yang and Weiss about what huntsmen can actually be like) also fun to consider the significance of Salem narrating the first four WoR... if you want to get into that meta lore. or just have Mosco do it XD Qrow mentioning Patch was definitely a nod to his nieces, something that Mosco had a hard time hearing lol re: Vale and its expansion efforts... remember Mountain Glenn? the ruined city that Team RWBY spent three episodes in during v2? re: Mistral... Qrow's remark at the end is about Raven and her bandits hiding in the wilderness, but it can also be interpreted as a nod to the White Fang whose HQ is somewhere in Mistral too.
