REUNITED AND IT FEELS SO GOOOOOOD loving how worried Elijah is for Ilia at this point, and her visceral hatred of Adam that pops out every time he gets mentioned XD and HERE COMES THE LORE! having Raven be the one to not just tell that to Yang and Weiss but to expose the audience to these things... the hints of what is to come... it's such a fascinating choice that I still believe will pay off one day. can't wait to see the reactions later on this volume to what else Raven does

Raven specifically brought up that Yang 'was told about her(Raven's) semblance' was to preface the fact that you can't have multiple semblances. So someone who had the semblance to shapeshift is (supposedly) possible, but Raven already had her portals so she can't /also/ change forms... except by magic. (Or some major left field fuckery/sci-fi BS :p ) That said, the whole thing was to, at least, plant a seed of doubt about how much Oz and 'his followers' are actually sharing with RW_Y and JN_R.
