RWBY - Vol. 4 Ep. 8+9 - Reaction (Full)

Technically the reason for the hard the slaps was, was actually a miscommunication between the Miles (the writer of that scene) and animator. Miles was just as surprised when he saw it after post production.

Blake CONSTANTLY slapping Sun this season is what knocked her out of the lineup for favorite characters. That shit is not okay and will never be okay, and people who try to defend her for doing that will always piss me off. I also want to add for warning that while the RWBY fandom can be encouraging, this fandom is also among the most toxic, especially if you don't like what the hive mind likes. There is a point where the shows quality of writing begins to decrease while the fandom toxicity begins to increase in correlation. it's interesting shit to watch if you don't get involved in the online drama.

Please get Moscow to react to RWBY, she will love it! Once you get her to watch the color trailers with you she's going to start understanding why you love this show. To help clarify Qrow's semblance it's "misfortune" a passive semblance that's always on, he can't turn it off or on like we see with other characters semblance. Rewatch Qrow vs Tyrian's fight with that in mind, why he was telling there others to stay back, certain movements he made and why he got stung at the end.

I would like to point out that, while he did it sounding like an arrogant prick, Whitley came to Weis’s room to basically tell her, “Dad and I are leaving the house.” and “ There’s no point of training if you’re just going to stay in your room.” I think there’s more than meets the eye with that kid.
