I've been talking about doing this for a while, and was driven to do the first one today: I want to do a series of cartoons/illustrations pairing cute animals with political statements that would make people think. My big plan for this is to see which ones stick and make t-shirts out of them, and to bring other artists in on it as well. I have only mentioned it to two other artists so far, and, well, I guess there's no time like the present.
I like the idea of a random cute animal generator, which is why I asked for some from the hive mind earlier. I like all of the suggestions and will use them as I go, but Zach was the quickest to respond and I wanted to do this while I had the bug up my bum.
About the sentiment: I always found it very odd that the Clinton camp was pointing out that Putin likes Trump as a bad thing. If you've been paying attention to events in the middle east, and Clinton's comments about such, she was stating that they'd take the mess over there right up to Russia's doorstep and in so many words saying she'd re-ignite the cold war. Is it really so unbelievable that Russia would prefer the candidate who isn't advocating that?
And who is defending re-igniting the cold war? Has war becomce such a big part of who we are that this doesn't seem crazy? The answer is yes. Our economy as a nation is by far dominated by war profiteering. And those fingers are all over this issue.
